I'd say cleaning the maf, throttle body all in one can help. As far as the oil on the spark plugs if you don't have an oil catch can it can be the oil vapor that makes it into the intake and over time just builds up nothing to worry about. I'd say do all that and run some fuel injector cleaner and you should feel all the power come back.

Spark plugs looked fine. That rustiness and oily looking stuff is old anti seize. Should have put anti seize when reinstalling.

Anti seize will act as a lubricant which will alter the torque value on the threads. Causing over torque and or shell stretch. IMO more harm than good to add anti seize especially if you change your spark plugs every 50k

I would consider a regear and a cai. You’ve got oversized tires and a restrictive intake, both big contributors. I know you buttoned everything back up but you may look into replacing the coil packs as well. Bad coil packs will cause misfires resulting in poorer performance which you could detect on obd2 live feed if you’ve got one.

You can get oil in the spark plugs but if all of that gunk is oil you would notice that you are topping your oil off and burning it. The gunk is most likely anti seeze or some weird spark plug “grease”

I had to change my spark plugs on my 2000 ford ranger bc it wasn't running right. After I fixed it, it was day and night difference. BE SURE YOU USE A SPARK PLUG SOCKET.

After selling my Taco, the Tundra is just a bigger version of that truck, plugs on it are easy peasy as well, just 2 more plugs is all..Top tip~ stick with Denso/ NGK OEM plugs

i would say if you re gear it will get rid of the "slugish feeling" you have and you don't have to with your 33"s but it would feel a lot better in the end

They have been changed. If they were og they would have denso in the right bank and ngk in the left bank. There would also be a paint mark on the top of the plug.

Just what I needed, had my 2012 since 2020 so haven't changed my spark plugs since then, and I doubt they were changed before I bought it in 2020 🤔🤔🤔awesome vid 👌🏾

May need valves reshimmed if down on power. But I’d put my money on the bigger tyres on stock gearing being your problem

What you saw on the threads is anti seize not oil!

You dont want to use the bottom 10% or top 10% of your torque wrench. Im a dumb Marine but thats what they taught us when I went through the Marine Corps school to work on airplanes.

clean your throttle body and maf sensor

Just buy a new MAF sensor, cleaning them can mess them up even with the maf sensor spray.
