I think it is done with green screen. When the ginger cat appears the image is cut off along the bottom. The kids are not on the same stage as he is.

13:07 I also noticed the missing shadows. Look at the angle at which his feet are on the ground and then compare that to the cat's paws. I think it's a very high resolution display that they've pushed into the show. And that explains all the trick effects.

​@@terrytruffin64 I, too, believe this is CGI. I missed the lack of shadows and reflections under their feet, but that is a definite give away. As is the shimmering at each of the performer's edges as they were lifted off the green screen - That was done automatically but not with a Hollywood grade system. But it's a good, fun and harmless deep fake and a lot of work and creativity went into this. Pasting the performance on top of AGT's fixed stage background would be easy. Then he cammed to shots of the judges and audience taken from other shows. That was very well done. But Simon would have been rolling his eyes and punching the X Button at the slow pace of the performance. He never could have waited until the first child was finally conjured. BUT, he seems to have convinced a lot of people, so it worked. KUDOS! He should do this with political content. He'll make a fortune.
