The joys of full throttle unplanned. Still remember when I was just 15 I had the junky Suzuki TC 125 it had a selector for street or dirt unlike the TS where it just had 5 speeds and a better design. Kick starter did not work and I push started it. The needle valve stuck in the carburetor and when the engine started it took off like a rocket and wheelied I could not pull in the clutch or do anything it dragged me until it finally hit a tree and left me all bloody and calling that motorcycle names that it deserved. The joys of full throttle:) I guess it was payback for calling it a piece of sh*t on a daily bases. 😊

I just learned how to ride a dirt bike last year at age 19, I’m “self” taught as of right now and your videos have helped a lot. I’ve always been able to watch a video, retain the information and apply it effectively, that combined with your ability to teach something in a clear manner, I think, is why I’ve been able to progress consistently. Even in just a years time I’m a completely different rider, I have much more confidence. Thank you for uploading the lessons you provide others, they aren’t like learning in person, but they definitely help

13:45 yep that was 1st gear alright... I wouldn't have students on automatics test for neutral like that. I would have them rock the bike front to back tapping the shifter, and explain how different it feels to be in neutral. The shifter should be at the bottom and feel as well as sound solid (no clicking) this only works on automatics with neutral being at the bottom. But again you do fabulous work with the kiddos. I am glad to see that everything you're doing from starting in third to the way you encourage good seat position and posture I've been intuitively doing the same while teaching my daughter (she started on training wheels too 🥰)

Very cool, i just started to teach my nephew on 85 ktm and the beginning was almost like this. But now after 10h of riding his starting to get it, just need some more self-confidence
on acceleration, how should i do it or should i just wait when he is more confident with the bike?
