I think every junior and amateur rider should be watching your videos! Sharing your knowledge is invaluable, great way to support the sport you love! Top guy 😎✌
Thank you for posting so much useful, unfiltered training content. I went to Gary Semics school four times. These videos feel the same as the training he provided. In a sport like this, that is as dangerous as it is. The most important part NEEDS to be shared. Technique is so important on a machine that is built to be ridden a certain way. So thanks for all the free advice. I still need it, I'm sure many others do and my kids need it. Plus I love seeing the look on their face when they hear you telling other riders a lot of the same stuff I tell them. Haha
Alright built a track over the weekend. Made myself a rythym section that was pretty scary. I have only rode 1 track 1 time so my experience is very limited on how to judge hitting something big for first time. I watched most your videos last night. Somehow got the confidence I needed and rolled by it twice and than sent it. Big double out of corner, to double, tabletop, double out. Did it about 30 times tonight and feeling good about the section. Thanks Aj for the helpful vids.
Hey AJ, I know you don't intend to do this, but often your comments as constructive and correct as they are, are worded in a way that I think takes away from their confidence... When you logically explain to a kid that that was the worst possible outcome and therefore he should be confident going forward. He heard, that sucked, you suck right now, lets try again. So if they mess up start with stoking them out i.e. "that was great!, and did you see how you didnt land quite perfectly? When you get it smooth its even easier" rather than "dont take offense but it couldnt get any worse than that, and let that give you confidence". I teach alot of the little bastards but not MX... You rock at this man, we love the content.
12k views and 505 thumbs up ,, ask deserves more love than that!!! Great teacher and always thorough in the explanation and builds you up to succeed!!!
Good advice at this age is worth so much down the road ... You can see the value of getting your child /self a lesson or two on those weak points its a far quicker and safer way to learn ..
Ever heard of hard rock mx park in Ocala ??? If so. Any pointers for the first time rider there ??? Ps. 5’6 on a 2016 KX 100. @140lbs. Thanks. I try to take your info and apply when out ridding
I know this isn’t really related but I kinda want a more knowledgeable opinion, I’m a short dude like Alex martins height and I’m on a 125sx and there are some times I wish I was on an 85 just because there are certain situations where I would like to reach the ground a little better, and if I tip the bike over it’s easier to restart the bike and get going on off camber terrain. I’m 16 so I feel maybe a little old for an 85. Is it something I should just deal with or switch.
If you’re 16 and about 5 4 or so, you should be totally fine on a 125. Being a bit shorter on a bike you just need to expect that you if you crash the bike will be harder to pick up and get onto in certain situations.
The last attempt before the video ended looked like he was very close to clearing it (but not quite IMO). Did he finally clear it or was the last one considered "cleared"?

Love these tips. My riding technique has increased by far
Same
Mine too. Can't wait to do a clinic next year
It's amazing how these small tips can increase your confidence when riding
I'd love to see AJ as a co-host on pulp MX
Your explanation and tips you do with this young dirt bike warrior is just .... WOW .
RESPECT AL
Really appreciate your breakdowns of what is happening throughout the various sections (mentally and physically).
I feel his struggle, my first year racing and the jumps are getting me mentally
Great little inside into all your skills and knowledge. That young man will smash that in no time now
It’s like your talking to me & I’m learning

Ikr i was rolling
Bro these videos are so cool.
That’s a big gap folks. I’m old and scarred of it. Good for that kid to crank on it

I was cheering so hard for the little guy to clear the jump. But I’m sure he will get it in time.
Thank you 😀
Good job kid you’ll get it stay confident you got it 💪👍
Thank you 😀
I grew up and raced at this track when I was a teenager!!
Good rider ! Great rapport 👍
I wonder why would someone hit the thumb down on a vid like this. Absolutely amazing tips and very motivating
I agree
Thumbs down are usually from ballrides that can't even ride a bike
I don't even ride tracks but I can't stop watching these videos.
Haha 😎

Have you already made a schedule to come to bogie brothers in VT?
November 6th, 7th, 8th!
Aj Catanzaro this year or next?
When can I come and train with you
Did he end up clearing the step up??
I have a suspension question when i come off a jump it wants to endo right away how should i change my rear shock to stop that?
Don't worry about the shock , worry about the throttle. Grip it and rip it bro. 🤘🏻
@@travisrieder8710 Ik that my shock is needed tho so how could I change thay
Have you set your sag properly?

How should I practice lifting my elbows up off the bike since racing just ended.
And do you do private lessons at Winchester speed park during the summer.
trying the rowing machine, when u row keep your elbows up it will be hard to do for 20 minutes

Battery died on the camera. He did 5-7 pretty much to that same spot. Technically it’s still a case, but BARELY

I hate that jump I always can’t stop
so the million dollar question.... ktm 65 or thumpstar 190 as a pit bike for a 6ft 165lb 250f racer?
Absolutely not a 65!!
Why?? 65's rip and have race suspension
@@benmyotte7737 6 feet tall on a 65 his knees would be in his chin.
@@SOLDOZER Tall bars!!
The only thing I have ever disliked on this channel is the intro song. 🤘🏽
