I watched these films with my family Growing up. My grandfather, grandmother, and Mom and little sister. That was long ago.

It was too predictable, no real suspence.

Of all those fine men of the Ponderosa... my favorite was good ole Hoss! Loved that guy! He was such a big lovable sweetheart! Strong as a bear, but with a loving heart.

One of the best episodes. Farmer Perkins and McNeil are excellent portrayals of psychopaths, and Sam Bryant of a sociopath.

2 things would have made this better: The reaction on Farmer's face knowing they were going through with the hanging, and the brothers acknowledging Adam was right.

Cartwrights' are good example for people to see or to learn from.

Thanks to the producers, the directors, the writers, and the wonderful wholesome actors for a hit series that make us sit on the edge of our chairs while our hero's dealt with all sorts of challenges. God bless all of them and all of America .......

Adam was always cool under pressure, unlike Little Joe who just went to pieces.

Man, I love these old shows. I was born in 81, but I should've been born in 1941. I love old TV shows and movies, old cars, old guns, old fashion, old music and am not much of a fan of most of those from today. Love the Cartwrights. So many great black & white shows too. Thanks for sharing these. I love the earlier episodes with Adam instead of later ones where he was gone and they had Candy I think his name was, red head guy and the ones with the red head kid. They aren't bad, but Adam was always my favorite.

People don't know how to build drama or teach moral lessons anymore. This episode is beautiful.

I always loved Lorne Greene's voice, especially when he narrated animal wildlife shows.
