      Decades ago didn't have oil companies drilling and spilling oil and Fukushima radiation is spreading across the globe. Black Dust (Wigner effect) also known as the decomposition effect, is the disintegration of metals, airplanes, the entire infrastructure of our planet (including humans), by weakening and making it brittle and that includes ice.

      unclesamtookmymoney That would be true, but only if you excluded; tigers, leopards, lions, crocodilians, Komodo dragons, hyenas, cougars, sharks, and a wide variety of other animals.

    • @Shna_na
      @Shna_na 10 ปีที่แล้ว

      ThePoodlenoodler There are only 14 deaths by shark attacks per year. More people are killed by vending machines.
      Now tell me, do sharks still hunt people deliberately?

    • @ThePoodlenoodler
      @ThePoodlenoodler 10 ปีที่แล้ว

      Nathan Stephenson My point was obviously not that sharks are responsible for a large number of human deaths. And I don't see how them not killing many people disqualifies them from having deliberately hunted humans before.
      Many times when people are attacked it's because they were mistaken by the shark for a seal or some other prey animal, and the shark then proceeded to hunt them as they would any other animal. This means that, yes, sharks do on occasion deliberately hunt humans.

    • @AirsoftReviewerHD
      @AirsoftReviewerHD 10 ปีที่แล้ว

      Deliberately would not be the correct word then.

      This is a thing of absolute beauty. Can do nothing but apologize for our ignorant consumer generation and how we are destroying these animals homes. We have the intelligence beyond these animals to improve their lives and yet our greed is destroying them. For thousands of years they have swam miles in clear, temperature balanced oceans. F**in disaster. We can't see the woods through the trees.

    I'm thoroughly surprised, not about the disappearing ice and this beautiful video but that GoPro is involved with the global warming issue to help show American citizens, the world and especially the energy industries that we're ready for change and they can't keep on drilling, digging, mining and fracking the earth.

    Arctic ice (where polar bears live) is in decline 15.6% per decade but Antarctica is growing 1% per decade. Arctic sea ice minimum in 1979 was16855 km cubed and in 2012 it was 3261 km cubed. Some of the reasons why Antarctica is growing is mostly likely from the change in circulation and the wind patterns. Als, around 98% or so of sea-ice (not including the poles) are melting and not growing. Please like so others can see.

      Sad thing is Kids at School are shown pictures of the World and Cartoons of Polar bears and I think they just expect them to be living as they do. That Lions do actually Roam in Africa, That penguins do actually live in the Arctic. That fish are actually in the Sea. The Next generation all these things will be shown and taught in Schools but it will be like teaching them about dinosaurs becuase it won't actually really exist.

    • @jimmyyang5193
      @jimmyyang5193 9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      +jkcrusher18 It's still the Arctic, so there should still be ice. The Titanic sank in mid-April, after all.

    • @lauragriffin6512
      @lauragriffin6512 9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The Arctic has been ice-free many times in the past and there is photographic evidence of it back in the 50's and earlier. The Titanic sunk off the coast of Newfoundland, not the Arctic and it hit an iceberg. Why would you even bring that up? There's no comparison AT ALL.

    • @jimmyyang5193
      @jimmyyang5193 9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Laura Griffin I know it sunk off the coast of Newfoundland. But if there's ice that far south, then logically there must be ice in the Arctic during April. It doesn't take a genius to connect the dots.
      Just because one section of the ocean was ice free doesn't mean that the entirety of the Arctic Ocean was ice free. Do you have any scientific data that says that the Arctic was ice free back then? One that shows the ice levels? One that has data collected from Arctic ice samples? If not, then your claim has no basis. (By the way, Al Gore and the other supply-side think tank scientists are not legitimate scientists. Research has to be from a legitimate institution or university, like NASA, NOAA, or Harvard).

    • @mnb9162
      @mnb9162 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      You say that but will you change your life for them? Words just don't really do anything anymore. Good thought though. Annoyed at me saying this? OK so I assume you tell at least your own family everyday at steps they can do to save the animals and their home(planet)? You don't? If people can;t even convince their closest freinds/family then it is near impossible to change government policy. Feel uncomfortable asking people to change? Again will be near impossible to change government policy if some great individuals can't even talk openly to close freinds and family. Give it a try. Don't know what changes to make? A quick google research and you will find all the info you need. Won't take up much of your day. One person convincing their own freinds and family spreads like wild fire. Government policy comes from the people not from those in charge. You are a great individual Vdk. The polar bears would swim miles for you.

    It is true that normal for our climate throughout all history is that it changes. Politics tries to keep people in fear. Back around the 1970's, it was the fear of going into another "ice age" as we were in a downward trend. More recently it was "global warming" as we were in an upward trend. Things then transitioned to "climate change" and now that our climate temperature has peaked and has started to decline, some are once again starting to say we are going into an "ice age". "Climate change" is a good term to use ... it about covers everything.
    These Polar Bears are an amazing creation of God and this is some incredible footage of them swimming! It is awesome to know that God is in control of the climate and we can trust in Him.

  • @GunfightersINC

    Let's just make something clear. Antarctic ice hit record highs this past winter and all glaciers are still there and growing. This is normal, and awesome footage of polar bear business as usual.

    • @chucknorris5476
      @chucknorris5476 10 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      To be fair though, I think what they're hinting at is that our winters are getting more wintery (it's a word trust me!) and our summers are getting more oh fuck it's hot as knobs outside. Thus they're getting boned in the summer.
      Idfk. Bears are fuzzy and I'd prefer a Nordic planet anyway. Growing up where it's cold all the time woot woot

    • @GunfightersINC
      @GunfightersINC 10 ปีที่แล้ว +10

      Waterlust, Correct I meant to say Antarctic. Arctic levels are up 50% from last year which was a record low. Point I was trying to make was that our ice caps and glaciers are all at healthy levels despite the fearmongering our goverments are trying to pass off to those willing to take their word for it.

      +ApexIXMR What GoPro is doing actually makes some sense. Part of how they market themselves is how useful these cameras are in filming nature. If you look at the rest of their videos, a lot of them are either attached to an animal or used to film an animal. So they have an interest in protecting the environment. The same way oil companies have an interest in scientific data that proves carbon emissions and other human activity don't have an impact on climate change or the environment.

    Inspiring video of Polar Bears seeking sea ice from GoPro. ICEGRIPPER supplies non technical crampons and traction products to Arctic and Antarctic tourists, expeditions, tour companies and tour leaders. We hope our involvement in the economic activity of the polar regions, albeit in a very small way helps contribute to the protection of these areas and in turn safeguards these beautiful creatures.

    I wish mankind did more to save animals like polar bears, it's so sad how much Antarctica has shrunk.

    Despite all the heavy handed suggestions that apparently this video is "proof" of something dire among the Polar Bears, the reality is that we see Polar Bears swimming from land to land, which is normal for them. I see nothing in this video that is alarming or proof of global warming.

    The only way they have to swim 100 miles is if they're swimming from Maine. There's more ice now than just a few years ago. Get with the facts please.

      But Al Gore said it was impossible! Don't you know he needs a new beach house from which he can properly fight climate change. Oh the humanity!
