My favourite version of Zapteado. I can't stop to listen to it everyday. The pianist is great, it make the whole piece so lively and perfect match with Augustine's violin.
This was an excellent performance of that divine piece. Well done Mr. Hadelich! And YES, poor Miss. Miss was who got me interested in this piece. I doubt that poor girl is ever going to hear the end of it, about that performance.
Melina Lindsay Stirling is an entertainer, good for getting people in the door. Augustin Hadelich is a true artist providing nourishment for the soul. If you ever have a chance to hear him live you will understand what I am talking about. I am a professional musician who recently hear Hadelich play in person. It was a transformative performance. First of all his technique is beyond perfect, he never misses but it is through his musicianship that he soars. He is a once in a generation violinist. Lindsay Stirling is a pleasant violinist but not the unique musician that Hadelich is. I am writing this three later and I imagine Hadelich is catching up. If not, all I can say is too bad for those who are missing out.
I always love everytime he plays Sarasate’s pieces. I feel like I could sense his passion and also sensitivity through his playing (alright, I hope it doesn’t too bizarre) And I guess what makes it more perfect is Eguchi-san’s accompaniment which truly show flair for both of them. Really hope they will work together again 🤞🏼
You need a truly supreme violin to make those high notes sound like this. You can hear the crisp clarity in each note. Of course, he's playing on a Stradivarius in this. He's also an astounding player

Appears so technically effortless and absolutely magnificently phrased, there is so much power in this performance, I hope to one day hear him live.
I've heard and seen so many versions of this, but this is far and away my favorite. The transitions are magnificent.

I prefer midori too I don't prefer this version it's rough in places and doesn't flow as well.
