When I think about it the classroom was probably where I encountered the most “naturally occurring” asmr.

Yeah the first time I experienced ASMR was in elementary school. I watched my friend when she was drawing and I got goosebumps and felt relaxed. I didn't know what ASMR was back then tho. I realised what was that as soon as I discovered ASMR 😊

When my Mom used to do that, I realized what all animals feel when being petted.
My grandma used to do that all the time when I lived with her. Me and my sister had to share a room with her, and we never wanted to lay down at night. But when she did that I would knock out and wake up with drool on my pillow.

When i was in nursery and reception we’d do “paint a person” where we’d be put into a group of two, one of you would lie down while the other traced your whole body with a paint brush then you would swap over (i had a whole tantrum over who my partner was but that’s a story for another day) then there was another thing where we would all sit in a circle but we would all face a certain way so our backs were showing to the person behind us and they would draw and trace on our backs. We didn’t have to guess or anything, just relax but oh my god it was heaven.
I laughed so hard about the tantrum xD

i remember there was this reallyy sweet girl from my 3rd period in 3rd grade who did this to be and she was from london and we had to whisper so the teacher didn't catch us and her whispering voice was so relaxing that i fell asleep and I got detention but i didn't care because that was one of the best moments of my life

Fun fact: In Germany we have something called an Ink-killer (Tintenkiller) and it's basically like a double sided blue and white pen we use to erase ink (and then write over the erased part if need be) She used it in this video 😌
