Rode this a few days ago right when it opened and there was a non-stop draft to the top. I juuust crept in under 7 minutes at 367 watts average. Did it at 75% and got under 6 minutes. Then tried it at 50% and did not manage to get under 5 minutes. Time to do. it at 125% and try to get under 8 minutes today.
Amazing Gerben, again. You just power up these short sharp climbs like a demon 😈 I wish I could spend that amount of time out of the saddle on a trainer. I find it weird, keep thinking I'll break my frame 😱 I'll have to try the Gerben method next time 😉 I've done two runs up it now, 10.24 1st time on Friday then 9.24 today 👍 265w which is crazy for me!
i have a question about the choice of equipment. i only check on the number of stars of the bike/tyre regarding weight, speed. is there more science to that in zwift than that?
Yes. Sadly: the stars are useless. Use Zwiftbikes.app or Zwiftinsider for finding the best bike for each course. They do very deep dives in each bikes stats.
Nice to watch - motivating....now I am off to do the Alpe - again - to finish my Everesting before midnight...
Go for it!!! 🫡
Well done... just insane to watch. Awesome strength and power.😊
Thank you Zoe! 👌
Great ride! Definitely looks like a fun one
It is. Next time I’ll take the Athos for a spin. See if that makes a difference ⚡️

Contemplating RN riding it again in a fast group ride to get under 7mins. :) Which is indeed incredibly quick! Well done!
nicely done. finished strong 💪 it's just long enough for a hard effort. you beat me. I did 7.33 yesterday 3.20w avg tho got the jersey 😊
Ohhh. The jersey! Congratulations 🥂

I collapsed at the end and ha to sit down :) But I have noticed that standing up riding is trainable, next time I'll make it to the end! Thank you!
@@RideWithGerben I'll keep working on it and maybe one day I'll be standing up on all short climbs.
Sterke beer...💪
Helemaal gaar nu 😅
Damn awesome job 👍
Looking with some envy at this leaderboard. Guys below 7 minutes 😅
@@RideWithGerben I'm just trying to avg 250-270 watts, before I turn 60. I have just over a year.
@@davidcarino6500 You can do it!
Solid effort. Lots of zwift events going on that climb. lot of strong riders (must be cheaters of course) are out there 😂🤣😅
Well. I didn't want to say that the "winner" of today was a bit dodgy. But then again: a bit dodgy. :D
lol I’m toast for putting up 2.5 watts for couple of minutes 😂
LoLLLL😅

@@RideWithGerben oh really. damn ;-) im always using the Felt AR Bike and thought "why ever upgrade, the stars are good on that". Thanks!
