If you want to see a really good diving movie i recommend Diving into the unknown its about a group of divers who retreave the bodys of their friends who died in an diving accident. Its really good but with a really sad undertone.
From my Facebook post after watching on April 4: My opinions about "47 Meters Down: Uncaged". As a thriller, it was fun. As a shark movie, it wasn't terrible. As a title, a complete failure - they were never 47 meters down. True, there was a cage but nothing was in it. As a diving moving a flat zero. Worse than a zero? They got absolutely everything wrong. Fun ending. Almost comical how wrong the got the diving. It might be a good drinking game to call out the technical issues.

Sharks' electrical sensing organ isn't their lateral line (which senses water pressure changes). It's their Ampullae of Lorenzini, which are located along their snouts. Oh, and bull sharks can travel pretty darned far into freshwater systems.
I didn’t think the movie was that bad. Accurate? Hell no. Nerve racking? Yes. If you enjoy creature movies, like I do, it’s better than a lot of others out there. The characters made me care about them, I liked the subplot of sisterly bonds. I’m not saying it was the best, but I don’t think it deserves as much hate as people are giving it.
Not seen that yet, gonna need a lot of pizza and beer to make it through. Seems even more ridiculous that its predecessor 46m below. The thing is, with all the things they get wrong, I'm not sure if they are deliberately made to be bad and inaccurate as a sort of high-budget parody of the genre, or if they seriously think they are making a legit adventure movie.
The first red flag for me was that these girls just decided to go cave diving without proper equipment and no guideline…and their swimming + kicks…oh lord
Background music during the first episode of season 47 was way to LOUD very hard to hear and understand what the players were saying. Please tone it DOWN

Love the breakdown. I always pick movies apart finding the flaws. Some are really funny and ridiculous, especially in scuba movies.

I’m not going to watch this post 😂. Whilst i love sharks and am happy to dive with them - there r some images i don’t want in my head 😳😂😂

I get the idea of using great whites is because theyre huge but i feel like a great white wouldn't be the kind to live in a cave
