    Great storytelling! You're a very entertaining and engaging person to watch speak, especially about travel stuff. Really brings me back to all those middle of the night taxis and other things that only seem to happen when your vacation has gone wrong, but in an entertaining way.

    You were born the year after I was certified, I am starting to feel old! I also read the entire Advanced Open Water manual before my class.

    Great video Mark! I did that with Advanced Open Water manual too as no one told me either 😂

      I figured it was the same as the other manual, start at the beginning...

    Nice one Mark, enjoying the channel and the amount of content you are putting out is amazing. Keep up the good work. Never dived Gildy but pretty sure Dozzi (my local haunt) is pretty much the same

    Mark I really like your videos, very interesting and well done! Your channel is my new favorite, along with my standard fave James’s Channel “Divers Ready”. :)

    "Visibility of only 5 meters"...I laugh in Monterey (where viz is regularly 1-2 meters)

    During your first dive kit and your advance OW, did you pay for all of it or did someone 'helped' you to buy/pay for it?

    Great video, Mark. I just recently found this channel and I have been enjoying the videos you have put out. Since this is your most recent video, I wanted to ask a product question. So my local dive shop has the legend lx supreme version and none of the leg3nds. Now because of this they are making me an offer of around 25% for the lx. Now based on your experience as a retailer and a diver would you recommend that I go with the lx. Thank you and stay safe.

      The move from Legend to Leg3nd is mainly cosmetic, I'd be happy with the 'old' version.
      The Legend LX is basically the Leg3nd MBS, and they both have similar features so the only thing you're missing out on is some blue details

      Safe Diving Hey thanks for the reply, but since I am a new diver. Would you say that you have noticed any difference in cold waters. I primarily ask this because I feel aqualung has branded it as a better cold water reg

    • @SafeDiving
      @SafeDiving  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      You'll only notice the difference in extreme cold water or if you purge them for a long time in cold water.
      Normal use, even in cold water, you shouldn't notice any difference.

      I wish I was around back in the early years, making my own gear from a magazine. I'm just glad I had the opportunity to follow my passion

    Any personal anecdotes relating to Diving Incidents you would share with us in a video?

      Oh yeah! There'll be a few in the 2nd part, and I even have a plan for a series where I tell tales of funny and shocking things that I've come across

      Every now and then I still do, now I do work with Scuba Diver Magazine too and it gets very confusing...
