How to improve BALL CONTROL IN THE AIR (and first touch)

  • First touch is one of the most important abilities in football soccer. Players who have this ability are are game changers. The first touch and the ability to control the ball in the air can be developed by doing many exercises like:
    JUGGLING THE BALL (with different parts of your body and feet), WALL JUGGLING, High juggles (without letting the ball to get on the ground), juggling the ball with your partner and other exercises. They can help you to feel the ball better, they also prepare your foot to RECEIVE THE BALL from different standing positions and under different angles.

      You are welcome bro. Juggling with the toes it is more for football freestyle. But juggling with the laces is more for football. Because in football you do very often the receiving of the ball with your laces, you shoot with your laces,.. .

      I don't understand completely your message bro.
      But I think you mean that I need to show things like first touch (and receiving the ball on the ground and directional touches...).
      I can agree with you brother that these are very important skills.
      But this video was just about controlling the ball in the air and receiving the ball in the air.
      Maybe in the future I will make a video on a topic that you have mentioned

      yeah exactly bro my bad i dont know much of technical terms. but yup exactly receiving on the ground, btw this video was a banger you showed what the complete way to develop aerial control but can you go in an in depth video for 1st touch receiving on the ground.
      im garbage on that one atm, like surfaces to master, receiving with your backfoot ? and such tbx

      It is hard to answer this question bro.
      (because it is hard to measure air)
      But I am going to say that I prefer the ball that is not soft, but also not like a stone at a time.
      So when you juggle the ball, it doesn't create any pain for you but also not to soft.
      When you try to squeeze the ball with your hands, it bends very little inside. (But when you juggle, it doesn't create pain)

    Bro i entered in a collage in my collage sessions i couldn't play well.Between every training
    sessions i feel coach would have bad impression on me . whenever i made a mistake i feel like this . Iam a defeder i lost my timing agression .how can i overcome this

      I was thinking a lot what to answer.
      Sometimes I also get into this state where I lose confidence.
      But Here are some tips that can be helpful:
      1. start simple. Start with simple passes and don't try to dribble from first seconds (especially if you are a defender). Simple passes can give you confidence and then you will try to do something harder.
      2. Maybe you lack some kind of skill and that makes you unconfident. For example I had problems with receiving the ball. and it made me unconfident. So I needed to work and improve my receiving of the ball. When I had worked on my receiving I felt more confident
      3. Try to say something like this: I worked very good on my trainings, now it is time to focus on game and to play in relaxing way. I don't have to worry about improving now, only thing I can do now is to focus on game and relax.
      4. If you make mistake, don't be hard on yourself. Everyone makes mistakes. But what distinguish PRO from amateur footballer is that they REACT completely different. After every mistake they are not punishing themselves in their heads. They just say something like: I made a mistake. ok no problem. Just stay calm. Focus on the next ball,
      but NEVER PUNISH YOURSELF

      If you are not able to juggle with your laces, I think it is better to begin to juggle in your boots. But then you can work on juggling with bare feet 👍💪. keep working bro and enjoy it

      if you are able to do juggles with your laces and juggles with the inside parts of your feet, then it is easier for you to juggle with the wall. But learning to juggle with the wall comes not immediately. So just keep doing it and it will improve

      for me it took 35 days to get to the point where I can do 75 juggles(with my laces) stably. I did juggles every day. (only on Sunday I had one day rest)

      @@davidcod6024 Bro, I will not recommend you to do it 8 hours, because you would probably get overtraining. I trained it for about 1 hour and a half, every day (except Sunday ) during the coronavirus. I didn't have team trainings and I put the focus on developing these juggles. It took me about 35-40 days to see the progress.
      Don't forget to compare your day 1 and day 30 for example to see your growth.

      Yeah, bro, I had the same problem. So, here wall juggles can help you (especially all wall juggles with inside parts of your feet). And also train the receiving of high long passes with your partner. (with left and right feet. inside and laces) 👍💪

      Don't worry bro. Many of the juggles for me was impossible at the beginning. But after a lot of work it was becoming easier and easier.
      So just keep working brother
