A very good walk around of the flat. I've seen many senior living apartments, this is also a good set. A few things if can be changed or improved would help. Firstly, the A/C outer machines tucked away in the balcony will throw the hot air all along the balcony making it unusable - though summers one does go out for a while. In the bathroom the Grab rail is too flimsy for a heavier senior- needs to be a sturdier one. There is no support / grab rail next to the W/C. That is most important as i have put for my parents. At the entrance of the bedroom there is a sharp edged cabinet on the left- a danger for seniors. The curtains of the windows are too large for anyone to open/close- there needs to be some pulley mechanism to open and close them. Just a few changes suggested. Also pl include the facilities and garden outside to showcase the whole experience. Otherwise a great project. Thanks. Saxena.

Facilities are good for seniors as well as youngsters but calling a whole complex as senior's residences is not right. Seniors don't hv to isolated in a separate area like old age homes. It's healthy to have a mixed society with all age groups in a residential complex. They need to see kids playing , youngsters helping , seniors enjoying with others age groups to be able to live a normal life rather than making them feel isolated among only old people around. Pls advertise the complex for everyone with special amenities for seniors rather than just "seniors" .
it's not healthy to have nosey aunties and uncles with mental issues and frustrated sexual life who harass their neighbours..

What you said would happen the day all apartments start supporting this. Currently, nobody cares about it (which is unfortunate) and those who do end up showing it as the USP. The day they normalise all these features is when things would become better.
@Anjna Kaul.... a senior home is avaible for those who want to live Independently... these homes are designed specifically for those with disabilities or are handicapped in some ways..... that's why it's called " Senior Homes ".... very well designed.... the only thind I don't understand is why would a senior need a 3 BR home..... I could see a 2BR for guests, when they visit...🙂🇺🇸

There is no such thing as " old age".....you're living in the 19th century.... it's healthy aging and healthy retirement.... it's nice that you want your parents to live with you, and I applaud you, but with inter-cultural and inter-racial marriages of today that concept doesn't exist....many non-Indian Daughters and Sons in law don't want the Indian parents living with the family.... we see a lot of that in USA & Canada....I do understand the inter-generational family concept, but we only see that in the Mexican family....
