There could be a number of reasons for the cake being thin, where do I start! Is the weighing scale correct, sometimes the measurements can go wrong? was the baking powder out of date? was the temperature of the oven correct?

It is available in supermarkets in tins and if you can find it then use double cream instead.

Not really, you can skip the coconut cream completely if you like or use plain cream!

I made this in my stand mixer and it was really thin cake didn't rise what went wrong
