holy smokes. i wasn't aware it was lockable. now i have to go check my truck. i thought the arm rest cubby and glove compartment were the only things that were lockable. thanks for the heads up.
@@F150LightningMike I think you are correct. I just checked on mine right now and it’s not there. That’s really cool. I’m curious what the dealership were charged to do that. Also, I have a 2022 Ford F150, lightning lariat antimatter blue.
@@F150LightningMike Just checked and i have it on both sides and they totally lock the seats in place so they won't go up. I've had mine for 2 years too and never knew! i don't take my keyfob with me since i use my phone as key but i do still have the 3rd spare key they gave me that i always keep in my glove in case i need to get the spare tire. thanks for the video!
@1PedalLightning if you were supposed to get it it would be on your window sticker. Your dealer can pull it up if you don’t have it anymore. It was not included in the regular package. I added it when I ordered the truck. If you did have it on your sticker then it would say something like “lockable under seat storage” and your dealer should add the locks for free if they are missing. If you didn’t get it originally I have no idea how much money that would cost to add, but it probably wouldn’t be cheap.
I didn't know about the hidden key in the fob, nice. I've discovered a few things about my Pro that the Denver dealer didn't know about. On a recent update I now have the battery percentage showing on round gauge at the left on the main screen that I covered in a video.
Awesome! I was so happy when I got that update. That was I while ago though. You must be pretty far behind on updates. These OTA updates seem very sporadic.
Thanks. It’s not a problem since the dealership is fixing it for free. I didn’t notice it for two years so I guess it’s pretty easy for even QC to miss. :-) What part of the Lightnings did you work on? And are y’all still on temp leave?
I’m sorry y’all had to be on leave at all, but it’s good y’all are going back next week. If it’s any encouragement at all I would like to add that this is the best vehicle, not just truck but vehicle I have ever owned. And I’ve owned a lot. You and your team have done a great job.
Geez I gotta check my truck too
Yep you should. A lot of people don’t even know they exist.

Yeah let me know. I think you had to order it with the truck. Not all of them come that way.

so glad i didn't have to take it to the dealer since i bought it at a dealer over 500 miles away. 😂

I apologize for all of us at the plant. That seat probably had to be removed after the interior was assembled and the lock was overlooked.

@ I have done the whole truck but now for the last 3 yrs, I mate the body to the frame. Yes we are still on leave. We go back Jan 6

@@F150LightningMike thank you. We appreciate that.
Haha - so weird.
Yeah, no kidding! I’m just glad they didn’t give me a hard time about it.
