+Smooth-On Why NOVOCS on this video you using not Matte but Gloss?

Don't you need to apply the release on the metal dowel?
What's the main differences between the last two videos? They look very similar

We are having some trouble with how much to apply. Do we apply one layer and let sit until tacky? But when we do that the mixture becomes super thick. We also are having trouble with the ThiVex making the Dragon Skin so thick it clumps on the dowel and messes up the vessel. Can you all approximate how much you apply of each and when? Thank you!

Is it possible to create the same model but with multiple branches: aorta with main branches, suturable?

Do you know which material I can create a mold around these vessels to embed them into the training model? Thank you!

Hi. Do you have to wait a time between the last layer of dragon skin and the novocs?

When applying multiple layers of silicone, you must wait until the previous layer is tacky to the touch.

Also between the last layer of dragon skin and the novocs, the silicone has to be tacky? How do you think we can attain a vessel that could be pinched and have no leak afterwards? It is for a venipuncture simulator. Thank you very much.

The NOVOCS is mixed into the silicone, not applied separately.

As it is shown in the video, the novocs is applied over the rubbers surface at the end of the process...

Lynda, I am sorry, I misunderstood. You are correct, the NOVOCS is used so smooth the surface so the silicone does not stick to the glove. This should be done when the Dragon Skin is still fluid enough to be smoothed out. Waiting too long will allow the Dragon Skin to cure, making it unable to smooth the material out.

Why don't you ship to Germany? It's annoying that nobody from Europe can get this.
