Looks great!
Now to make it last longer on aluminum. Not really going to work on wheels because you’ll be washing them. But say something that’s going to be a wall hanger like a hub cap. Rub the aluminum with flour. Plain white baking flour. Then dust it off. I did this with an antique aluminum traffic light that we hung up in my son’s room. 👍

I’ve also heard of people spraying a clear coat on wheels but then it will have a tint to them.
