    I started working with the sled for SI joint rehab. Now it’s the main thing I look forward to using going to the gym. Do push, reverse, lateral and pull (for my arms) - it’s a full body workout

    When I initially worked with a sled consistently, I was shocked by how much I could load it and how much it burned without feeling very sore or worn down post workout. Definite benefits

    Recently bought a tank M1 sled to rehab from knee surgery, one of the best purchases I've made. Excellent product!!!

      @@pretty_flaco yup this 1000000% sleds been around for yrs, coaches talked about it just causes theres really no eccentric so its not to hard on recovery.

      I think for the most part it was used for athletic performance and knees over toes markets it as knee rehab

    I work in the convention industry, and I move loaded push carts all day long. I can attest to the importance of these type of exercises for functionality. You would also be surprised how much strength you get from ascending ladders all day.

    because of kneesovertoesguy, the sled is being pushed ( no pun intended ) by all these channels now… but wendler, defranco, and many other s&c coaches have been advocating this for over 15 years to their athletes and niche youtube audience as a form of conditioning … it has since become mainstream and promoted as the “holy grail” of fitness and will cure all your ails by snake oil salesman. at least give the actual strength coaches their flowers

    Kind of a dumb question, but is there any difference or preference between a sled and a wagon?

      yeah, if you can’t adjust the amount of friction of the wagon (free wheel i assume) then it doesn’t work the same. the weight on a sled determines the amount work you must apply to move the implement across the ground against the friction.

    I’ve been wanting to do the sled , but I feel like I don’t know if I am doing it correctly and feel a bit embarrassed of doing in front of soooo many people 🤦🏽‍♀️

    How can I simulate a sled in the gym? Because my gym doesn't have a sled.

      Try using a treadmill without the power turned on, at the same angles you would push or backpedal on the sled. You can’t load the resistance as heavy but with longer or more intense intervals you get a similar effect!

    Just did the sleds today. They also build great strength and power endurance. You'll be able to play intense defense in basketball younger. You want an athlete who can run 6-10 100 meter races at full speed, not just 1 or 2
