Battlefront Kashyyk: Islands in MAF

The original droid gunship is pretty fun to fly and can be quite a beast in the proper hands. The Mechanized Assault Flyer as it's called has some pretty powerful weapons including laser cannons, missiles, a rotating rear turret and even beam cannons. The CIS may have been copying the Republic's LAAT/i when they made this, but they made a pretty good gunship in their own right.

Honestly the MAF is probably the most underrated gunship in Star Wars. Don't get me wrong, the Droid Gunship is a great successor, but the MAF just has that unique look and blaster sound. I wish we'd see more more of it in Clone Wars era material.

The MAF is a very fun gunship to fly and yeah, I love its design. The front looks kind of like a face, or one of the Black Hole units from Advance Wars. It's clear the LAAT/i made an impression on the CIS and the MAF was probably their first efforts to create their own version. It's very potent but it can't carry many droids or heavy weapons, which is probably why they switched to the HMP droid gunship.
Yeah, I wish we could see more of it in action, too. We need a proper Battlefront 3 with an expanded Clone Wars campaign, all the units, custom battles and a map editor, basically what the modding community has already done. But I play on console, so I have to settle for vanilla.

Also the HMP is an actual droid. Not a standard gunship like the MAF was
