Thanks for watching, notification gang! Hope you all have a WONDER holidays! Let me know your favourite of these new Evolution comments in the replies to this comment 👇👇👇 (And yes I know Lucemon gets Larva and Satan Mode but that is NOT Mitosis Digivolution lol)
I loved number one. Currently in a digimon D&D campaign where doing most of the players have had kids with digimon. So they have hybrids that we are using in our sequel campaign.
Considering your number 1 pick I would love to see that as an anime or manga. And this is just me your number 1 unused Digivolution could easily work as an anime or manga that has a female tamer in the role of lead central protagonist for example have her partner be another Digimon that's usually associated as a female a Digimon like say Salamon, Lunamon, or Renamon and they'd Fusion Shinka/Fusion Digivolve into Valkyrimon, Dianamon, or Sayukamon basically keep the humanoid shape, and human-intellect but gain the armor, weapons, and abilities associated with said Digimon Partner.
Isn't that just Ophinimon? Though? Like thematically black gatomon to ladydevimon to lilithmon is basically supposed to mirror normal gatomon . That said we did get a fall down mode for Oph so who knows lol
@@dracotias Lilithmon is supposed to be the evil slide evolution for Ophanimon, but there is also Ophanimon Falldown mode. Lilithmon could have paraller to that.
@@Lahiss the way i see it, Ophanimon Falldown Mode is corrupted but not to the point she cant return to the light, while Lilithmon is fully corrupted by the Dark Area without hope of redemption
Biomerge Jorgress would be really interesting to explore. You could really delve into themes of trust and respect with it. Whether it goes the Megazoid/Alien X route of them in a space directing the new form, or Steven Universe 'new entity with the knowledge and motivations of it's composite parts', either would be cool.
See i love the Light digivolution idea! Perfect moment for it would have being in Tamers when Impmon digivolves into Beelzamon properly due to the love of his partners. That pivotal moment of turning to good and embracing it would have been a great time for something like that! They even sort of hinted at it with him growing wings and repurpasing the toy gun Mako gave him.
good news on number 6 for anyone that comes across this, they did make a Gargoylemon evolution not too long ago. Gargoylemon was not in that specific vpet though. (it's manticoremon for the unaware) (also dark armor does theoretically already exist in the form of DarkMaildramon.)
I think one of the reasons I like Tamers so much is that the ultimate evolution for the main gang was a fusion between tamer and Digimon. Wish there were more of that
@@Karn_EX I could also see one of the protags trying to force an evolution, much like Tai did, and it resulting in a chaotic fusion that’s less humanoid and more beast like
with #4 it is specially fitting as Veemon is the only "goggle head" partner Digimon to never go dark Tai's Agumon became SkullGreymon (even Virus MetalGreymon in 02) Takato's Guilmon became Megidramon Takuya became wild & kinda dark when her first became BurningGreymon Marcus's Agumon had the ShineGreymon Ruin Mode Shoutmon fused with NeoMyotismon (the most dark Shoutmon ever got) we know Gammamon has a dark evolution so yeah, Veemon is the only one without any dark evolution
I like the sound of this “dark armor evolution.” I feel it could provide some pretty interesting Digimon designs. Though, I’m also just a sucker for dark evolutions in general.
A darker series could have the concept of digivolution being caused by the devouring of code from other Digimon, in a literal sort of "you are what you eat" method. We've at least seen hints at this in Tamers and Frontier.
Most definitely. Tamers only brushed on it, but we have solid evidence from Beelzemon that digimon can 'steal' moves and characteristics from the code they absorb. And when you think about it, the card swipe is just a kosher temporary way of doing it too. And there are canon examples of digimon evolving using the code of other species.
If you need to justify your heroes being okay with this, you could go more towards the Frontier version-the data gets eaten, but also the egg with the core/soul and memories (though usually that's a bit more iffy...) flies off to be reborn.
With the perfect forms for Angoramon and Jellymon i had the idea of Blitzmon and Ranamon jogressing to Thetismon and Blizzarmon jogressing with Shutumon to evolve to Lamortmon! And for the purifying method i think Matadrmon evolving to Slashangemon and Chohakkaimon evolving to Lovelyangemon are just brilliant!
I wouldn't mind seeing the Matrix Digivolution/Biomerge come back. As I think given that we saw two versions of it first is the good version from Tamers that everyone is familiar with and imagined themselves doing with a Digimon Partner, and the dark corrupted version seen in Savers/Data Squad. I'd think since there's rumors of a Tamers reboot or Tamers-esque series coming after Ghost Game it'd be cool if we got both versions of Matrix Digivolution/Biomerge in it with the tamers who are the main protagonists and their Digimon partners, along with their anti-hero/anti-heroine tamer allies and their Digimon partners using the good version seen in Tamers where the tamer and his/her Digimon partner fuses into a Mega-level Digimon that is an actual Mega-level Digimon, whereas villainous Digimon, and villainous humans use the dark version seen in Savers/Data Squad to forcibly fuse with innocent humans, and innocent Digimon into corrupted versions of Mega-level Digimon.
I’ve actually been think of Double Element Spirit Evolution for a long time, because I think they should have gone that route in Frontier instead of Hyper Spirit Evolution / Unified Spirit Evolution. I even made up some Double Element Evolutions: - Flame + Metal = MoltenGreymon - Light + Darkness = DuskGarurumon - Wind + Water = StormKazemon - Ice + Wood = Taigamon - Thunder + Earth = TerraKabuterimon
That last one actually reminds me of an idea I had I called the Digi-Upload system. Basically, the tamer would get a special brace of sorts that they would slot their Digivice into, and their Digimon partner's data would be temporarily copy-pasted onto them. This would let them use their partner's abilities themselves, while also fighting alongside them if they're both still in fighting shape. It would obviously also come with physical changes resembling the Digimon, which would become more severe as the Digimon grows (going from mostly a palette swap when they're a Rookie to gaining more clearly Digimon-like components in later stages, like wings, horns, or other such bodily alterations, or getting armor if the Digimon has it). Main downside is, the Digimon can kinda just... choose not to let you do a Digi-Upload with their, which is definitely an issue with how moody some of them are. Let's use Tai and Agumon's evolution line as an example. Tai performs a Digi-Upload with Agumon. His hair turns orange, his eyes turn green, his nails turn into sharp claws and his clothes change color scheme from blue to orange. He can also use Agumon's special moves like Pepper Breath. Now we look at Greymon. In this Digi-Upload form, Tai's hair would turn a darker brown and a mask of sorts would appear over the upper half of his face, sorta blending in with the hair, and he would get small horns sticking out of his head. He'd gain access to stuff like Mega Flame (if I recall that correctly). With MetalGreymon, Tai's hair would remain normal, but the mask and horns from the Greymon form would turn into Chrome Digizoid, he'd get MetalGreymon's blue wings, and his left arm and upper body would be covered in mechanical armor (if the arm doesn't just temporarily turn robotic in general). He'd also gain access to MetalGreymon's moves that I am forgetting for some reason. And finally, WarGreymon. The mask and horns from the previous two turn metallic orange, and Tai is covered in a more complete armor resembling WarGreymon, complete with a Brave Shield on his back and somewhat adapted Dramon Killers on his arms. He'd also gain access to Terra Force and Terra Tornado (if I remember the name of that move right). Probably the most blatantly Burst-like form.
I like the idea of combining elements of the digiarmors to create an perfect level equivalent. (I was perfect and mega to just avoid the ultimate confusion).
In regards to dark Armour Evolution we did get a DarkMaildramon in Adventure 2020 that was SkullKnightmon's steed. So yes, something like this would be cool. The closest thing we got to a Biomerge Jogress was Gallantmon Crimson Mode who jogressed with Grani during the D-Reaper battle.
I used the idea of an elemental shift when doodling amor evos for my own partner digimon ^^' Have always liked coming up for new things to cram into those "designs", ever since I watched the first Adventure season as a kid in the 90's and the focus on elements definitely had crept in while playing the Cybersleuth games, where type advantages are a concept that's a lot more prominent :3
Hey hey hey Human-digimon fusion happened in the digimon fusion manga. Spoiler Alert! Nene fuses herself with, and gets taken over by, a Shademon, which later digivolves into Illuminamon (or something along those lines) while still fused with her, which allows Nene to take control again. Theres also this whole thing they do to destroy Zeedmilleniummon which I personally dont think counts. Oh, and it's heavily implied that the Alforceveedramon that appears in the fusion manga is Zero.
Uprise evolution and element shift evolution kind of remind me of a fan digimon I made last year, it was meant to be a burst evolution of lilithmon that was based on the idea that it was a flip side to Ophanimon. took that idea and created "Lilithmon Ophanim mode" which was a more angelic version of Lilithmon that had a set of eyed rings(the ophanims that Ophanimon are based on) that it could use to change its type and attribute mid battle and would affect two of its special attacks, one ring allowed her to shift between the neutral, holy and dark types to change her "Eden gauntlet" into a neutral shield, a holy lance or a dark claw along with a ring that shifted between the free, vaccine and virus attributes to change her "nazaar wings" attack between a horde of snake headed tentacles that poisoned a target, angelic wings that produced a rain of healing feathers or a pair of powerful limb to grapple an enemy
Okay, i was thinking about convergence evolution, where 2 digimon that have the same mega in their line, fuse or jogress into a evolved version of that mega. For example palmon and lalamon both have Rosemon as their mega, when they fuse they get Queen Rosemon or something like that
A thing I remembered when you mentioned elemental shifting, was that a few weeks back, I was talking about the Idea of a full SnowAgumon line with my sister. IceGreymon was the ultimate we came up with. In-Training1 until Champion was just with "Snow-" put in front. Since we watched Adventure 2020, WE wanted to think of two mega forms. GlacierGreymon for the physical fighter and BlizzardGreymon for the long range. But neither of us can draw any better then a four year old, so it's all just notes...
Double armor has always been a thing I love. I tend to always design forms with that concept in mind when I make armored forms for any fanmon I make. Probably because it was used in the Original Character Tournement called The Digital Core. And I loved it there.
The ninth one makes me think of Alphamon Ouryuken. I'm pretty sure its Ouryuken is actually an Ouryumon. I think Beelzemon Blast Mode is a good example of the seventh one but agree that we could see more. The fifth one just makes me think of Susanoomon at the end of Frontier. xD
Funny thing. When I was little and playing Digimon in my basement I came up with something similar to Double Element Spirit Fusion. I called it “Beast Fusion Evolution” and it came from combining the beast spirits of fire and lightning with the spirit of time (the one I had) and it created “Plasmon”. Because when I was eight I thought that plasma was created by “combining” fire and lightning. I wasn’t very creative in designing characters either so Plasmon looked exactly like Barrel Dragon from Yu-Gi-Oh.
I like the idea of "Split Digivolution" Where when a single Digimon Digvolves, it turns into two, it should be only a few though as they could have more than one evolution but let's say because he's a mascot with get a special Agumon who can do this, it split digivolves and one turns into Greymon and the other becoming GeoGreymon for instance, obviously this is a concept and it's not fully fleshed out but I like the idea
Ah, something to overthink about on the internet! "Mitosis Digivolution"....hmm. Could work. Would in theory require A) A split personality being involved, and not getting along with the rest of the Digimon and B) enough raw power/stat boosts/anime DETERMINATION to turn it into a digivolution instead of dedigivolution. Digimon turning into armor/weapons is an interesting concept, and I do really like the whole Card Slash Digimodify aspect of it. Not sure I'd qualify it as a digivolution, however; they're distinctly not fusing, by your own words it is one digimon folding into a weapon of some kind or handing another digimon one of their weapons. Would be at best a mode change, more likely either a special ability or desperation tactic. Cross Spirit Evolution would be intriguing, and frankly feels like a wasted opportunity on behalf of the Dark Warriors for not using it when they had stolen various spirits from the Digidestined for brief periods of time-though given they couldn't fuse their OWN spirits perhaps that required a human in the mix, or use of a D-Tector? Given the canon reaction of mixing Light and Dark, power levels of different combinations would be all over the place, though. The concept of Uprise Mode is neat, and it makes sense for there to be ways for evil Digimon to be drawn into the light if Ophanimon can have a whole canon mode for going crazy/despairing. Not sure I'd link it to Light in every case, though; after all, Kouji is proof that sometimes Dark Is Not Evil. Actually, I suppose you could qualify Beelzemon Blast Mode as something like this? I'd always headcanoned Armor Digivolution as being a kind of evolutionary dead end; yes, you can find this artifact and use it to be a champion of a particular specialty and skip all that training and growth to reach Champion powers, but you can't go forward from there and will have to drop back down to progress. Aside from the Golden Armors, which I headcanon as being anime protagonist bull so bad even the Sovereigns hesitate to bring them out based on something I read in a fic about what the related crests, Destiny and Miracles, do; Destiny makes possible things inevitable, so that even the slightest chance of winning becomes guaranteed victory. Miracles makes impossible things possible, meaning so long as you keep trying you can win. (Both of them together were something pretty frightening in theory!) That said, if I had to guess as to a means to take a canon Armor form further, maybe passing the Crest to whoever was using it? Jogress Biomerge would be a heck of a thing; at the very least, Biomerges are around high Mega level, so the combined product would wind up something at least Omnimon's level. As much as Tai wants to forget it, it would be interesting to see more dark digivolutions. If nothing else, the whole setup where there were Digidestined around the globe in 02 provided ample opportunity to show some of those kids REALLY screwing up in an attempt to gain enough power to keep their homes safe without having to backtrack on the character development of our main characters. And a Dark Armor would have been a concerning plot point; if nothing else, it would give the Kaiser a use for poor Wormmon.... All the armors at once....Form EverythingButTheKitchenSinkMon! More seriously, make it a kind of chimera and you get a counterpoint to, well, Kimeramon that's less out of nowhere than the Golden Armor, some distinction from Susanoomon, and possibly a lesson on why Jogress is a two-Mon sport depending on how well six digimon manage to run one body. Element Shifting sounds like it could be a cool tactical element-maybe even something to bring back Armor Digivolution in some form. You could have main characters who get the traditional upgrade to Ultimate, and then side characters and/or cool mentors who keep themselves relevant by changing their Champion partners to appropriate specialized forms to handle the situation or just rapid switching to adapt rapidly to changing situations. Actually, it wouldn't entirely have to be just elemental forms-something like switching between a slow and beefy tank to endure hits, a super fast but weak form to get close, and a powerful glass cannon for just when you're actually attacking! Digimon Fusion sounds...interesting. Something like what we see some Eaters do in Digimon Story? Though more, ah, cooperative. It could even let them "learn" some skills for when they're unfused-like having fused with your partner Wizardmon repeatedly wouldn't give you an attack, but you'd pick up on some "digital magic" and such! Great ideas. Hopefully if not the actual show some good fan project picks a few up! Heck, we've had enough fan Pokemon regions-how about a What I'd Put in a Digimon Season video?
I thought of something similar to Kimeramon or MarineChimairamon where the data of many Digimon of one species is brought together to make a new sort of combined chimera-type creature and possibly something it can naturally ascend to as a proper evolution that manages to hold together and control/combine the data that logically should be incompatible and become a sort of "impossible" but stable Digimon. I do think the Kimeramon concept is interesting and I wanna see it explored more with more species of Digimon, so it's just cool to me.
You know, this NeoTamer's concept really has promise. Could even have a start in a Tamer style world where digimon is just a game as far as they know. First half of the season focused on people who learned to materialize their augment forms outside the 'areas', or route manifest 'enemies' from the area spaces (as far as they know) somehow rampaging in real life, only slowly coming to realize the data used for the avatars, augment forms and monsters they fight come from an equally real Digital World, maybe even with a plot of the 'Bad Guys' of the season from the digimon side wanting to take revenge on, or just exploit the process used by the humans stealing data they want to further their own goals.
With the combining of digi mentals, I'd love to see in a 02 reboot them kind of borrow an idea from bionicle where in the original mata nui arc they all had to collect 1 of each mask of power, it'd be cool if the digi mentals also had copies and then each digi destined would have a full set and then even if they do still use "proper" digivolution, the digi mentals could become a sort of utility evolution. where it'd be cool to see them all use the digi mentals of reliability for an under water mission or courage to use fire to withstand the flames of an opposing digimon. (i'll be honest really only gave thought to reliability)
Great ideas Karn, I had also had ideas for double elemental spirits. Ice+ Thunder/lightning = Odinmon.(Odin is a Norse deity with relations to thunder via his spear gingnir(if I remembered it correctly)) Wind+Ice= Boreasmon. (Boreas is God of the north winds) Fire+ Earth(+darkness)= Tartarusmon. (Tartarus is a greek primordial and basically greek super hell) Water+Darkness= Styxmon. (The river Styx, Greek underworld river.) These are just some, also great video, looking forward to the Boxing Day video! P.s if this is the last pre Christmas video, Merry Christmas and Happy Holiday’s.
@@Justic_ thanks for the clarification! I think I just got confused with the actual Norse mythos and Marvel lore. But I do agree with it working as a link with Thor. (Also just noticed I wrote gingnir and not Gungnir. Darn you dyslexia.)
I think that Benthimon would work as a Dark/Water one, and I think that Light and Dark should play into families, or the Sun and Moon or something? If we just do the sun and Moon, Khonsuramon?
The human Digimon fusing thing has been used the way you described with Nene in the Xros Wars manga and surprisngly her Luminamon form actually got put in the reference book so we do have an example of an official Digimon with traits specific to a human character.
Human/Digimon fusion has been done by Digimon before. Spoilers for Hacker's Memory but (at least in the story's narrative) Erika fused with Wormmon and still kept her humanity. Another example being Nene fusing with Shademon in the Xros Wars manga.
I actually thought of double element spirit digivolotion years ago(Called it Double Spirit Evolution personally). Neoarchangemon on deviantart even drew a design I suggested based on this concept. That being Koji and Kouichi Fusing into Twilightmon.
I always liked the idea of an evolution method similar in concept to Kamen Rider Ryuki. Where both the Tamer and Partner Digimon fight alongside and power each other up. Frontier could have perhaps done that with the Human/Beast Spirits.
These evolution concepts are interesting, you should try a top 10 of anime characters that would make great tamers/Digidistended like Yugioh, Gundam build fighters, SAO, or SSSS. Gridman.
Idk if this would be considered a form of evolution, but it’d be cool to see the digimentals/digi-eggs hatch, and actually have their own original digimon all with the armor of their egg changing and evolving with them as they do. They could make a story about how they were the original armored warriors of a big war or battle who fought along side “alien” (human) beings and were sealed after the battle until needed again. I could see the digi-egg of courage’s bladed part being a dagger or sword for the hatched digimon, n friendships lightning bolt being a spear for theirs, etc, etc.
I've actually made an oc Digimon known as Belialmon, who has the ability to share its data with other Digimon, turning them into Belial Digimon, were the receiving Digimon gains Belialmon's color scheme, wings and the Belial Sword, a sword made from the data that makes up Belialmon's armor
Hexeblaumon's (Witch-blue-mon) fire version would be Hexerotmon (Witch-red-mon). Btw., they could certainly make more Digimon from mythological/mythical creatures.
Man... i really want dual armor digivolition to be a thing. Like it would've made more sense i think. I think that the hardest one wouldve been a digmon/submarimon fusion (something like a trident might work...?) But it could've been possible. Wormmon couldve gotten the digiegg of darkness and kindness. It couldve been a whole thing about Ken not wanting to use the darkness digiegg again but he overcomes that fear. Then all of them couldve gotten golden armors as the "mega" equivalent. Not sure what TK and Kari wouldve done though. Maybe just let them do their normal digivolutions idk. I still dont like that Gatomon wasnt a rookie but then kinda was in 02. Should've just been a rookie from the beginning. This was a long rant lol.
I had also an idea that was sticking with me since digimon tamers beelzemon. In the series it absorbed the data of leomon and he could use the move of him. I had the idea that a digidestyned could have a digivice with the ability to absorb data of digimon and use them for the human to digivolve into a more humanized fusion. Similar to the digimonxhuman fusions but more just the data of defeated enemies. It could also use more versions of a weak digimon to increase the data that is available. Do like digimon fusion with more of the same for a different outcome but merged with the human.
In the case of darkness mantels you could have it be the opposite of the existing mantels, Courage becoming fear, Friendship or loyalty becoming betrayal. Love becoming hate, Reliability becoming selfishness. Sensarity becoming dishonesty. Knowledge becoming ignorance. Hope becoming dispare, And kindness cruelty Or even just do a seven deadly sins thing and say that the demon Lords made them to counter the crest barrers. And in the last fusion example, 1 that's basically biomerging but with a more frontier spin to it. 2 have it so while in the human world the digimon need a human partner or some phisical vessel to manifest themselves in the real world and so the humans basically get frontier style forms because of it. And the bad guys can be ether humans who are stealing or using the digimons powers for evil, or digimon who are pulling a hawkmoth or code lyoko and possessing people to do evil.
Not sure if it'd really count as a "new" type of evolution but I'd like to see a series where the digimon partners would still have their preferred digidestined but wouldn't be locked to them, like if need be they could still digivolve via another kid and as such would be influenced differently thus becoming a different form. So like for example with the main partner you'd have a regular Agumon but if they were with the Izzy they would take on more insect traits as the levels go on ect
Here are some of my thoughts on some of these hypothetical new evolutions. (Mitosis Evolution) Ya know, it would be interesting for this if the 2 split halves end up fighting between each other and going in their separate ways. And it would also be interesting to see what would happen if something like this happened to a Digimon that its already a Chimera of sorts like Machinedramon. (Uprise Mode/Light Evolution) I imagine this would be pretty cool in a scenario where all of the Digimon partners of the different heroes are Digimons that are mainly part of the Nightmare Soldiers family, and everyone of them gets a Light Mode at some point or another. (Armor Super Evolution) Really cool, nothing much to say as it is pretty self-explanatory. (Biomerge Jogress Digivolution) So while the Megazord angle is cool, I was also thinking in a slightly more cheesy idea with this concept, of the Biomerge Jogress in question being between 2 Digimons whose respective human partners are a couple, or are in love but haven't confessed. Like say, a guy with a Coronamon partner Biomerges into Apollomon. Along with a girl with a Lunamon partner Biomerges into Dianamon, and like during a big moment or something... They end up Jogress/DNA Digivolving into Gracenovamon. Because nothing screams "The Power Of Love" like a sentient super nova! (Armor evolution with ALL of them) Bit of an overkill concept, but I still would like to see that.
I have always been fascinated by the thought of what would be the result of the spirits of light and darkness combining together. I also love your number 1 pick. A human digimon fusion sounds awesome. Pretty sure I'm getting a great legends box for Christmas btw. I'm hoping to get either of the 2 ancient digimon as my secret rare.
Number 5 technically exists for the Frontier season with them going Susanoomon if you want to go with the megazord theme to it that you mentioned. Though it was an end season form that we only got to see used once.
2:30 So something like Imperaldramon using Omnimon Data? I could get behind that get VictoryGreymon or EmporerGreymon's giant swords to other Digimon. 8:30 Gaiomon elemental shifting from dark to water and call it Poseidomon (Not the Appmon) to reference WarGreymon X's Poseidon Force and Gaia Force.
*grabs sketchbook* You have given me several ideas Karn. Can’t promise what I would make would look all that…good. But I can try!!! You’ve given me quite a few ideas before and this video just continues to pile them on! Great video as always Karn! Looking forward to the next!
So that’s when I get to see the others! On DECEMBER 26! Specifically that day. Good hype work Karn, good hype. Also, haven’t finished the video yet, but one I’ve had in my head is a sort of “data swap,” think the elemental shift idea you’re talking about as I type this, but take things like families or names. Royal knights swapping their status with demon lords, gods becoming robots, screw logic. Give me the craniamon of gluttony, Beelzemon RK mode, Kentaurosmon of lust, show me just how horrific that can be.
Have you ever thought about if they did like a holy digivolution so for example patamons normal champ being pegasusmon, and then itcan also access holy digivolution to digivolve to the angemon line, have been thinking that it would be a cool concept for a future digimon season if they gave all the partner digimon access to normal digivolution lines, and then gave them all seperate holy digivolution lines, i just think it would nice to see other angel/holy digimon to get some screen time
Speaking of frontiers. I was more curious about the corrupted forms of all digimon since everyone already has a double spirit form. And to add to that might as well add a corrupted equivalent of Emperorgreymon and Magnagarurumon
Wow. Some of these are really, really WILD ideas XD My favorite definitely is the idea of a further evolution for armor evolutions. That would be so cool. Well, it seems cool to me, for sure. I'm not so sure about human and digimon fusion though 😅 That sounded a little creepy for me (I don't know why exactly?) But there's interesting stuff on this overall list nonetheless. Btw, I'm once again having a marathon of your videos Karn and I gotta say: THANK YOU FOR BEING SUCH A GREAT HOST. You are seriously fun man!! I'm having a blast as always and definitely more people should get subscribing to your channel👏👏👏👏 EXCELLENT CONTENT! As always fun, entertaining, informative, you got it all👍
@@Karn_EX I don't know, to me bio merger in Tamers made sense lol Maybe not at first but it sure grew on me xD Except for Ryo and Cyberdramon turning into Justimon😌 But that's a personal opinion😅 Seriously, I'm watching your videos about ranking the crest digievolutions and it's a blast. Sorry you were sick when filming the kindness video! Thank you for the quality content and your charisma👍
When Karn talked about the like digimon megazord the only thing my brain could think about was "Didn't frontier do something similar?" Because the kids tansformed like power rangers and susanoomon, and even kaiser greymon and magna garurumon are like megazords
I talk about Susanoomon in here but it doesn't really have clear distinct parts like a Megazord (i.e. one zord or Digimon in this instance for each limb) and all the kids don't have their own cockpits
How about something roughly pulled from Digimon games where Veemon becomes Imperialdramon (Digimon Rumble Games), Agumon becomes Omnimon (Digimon Battle Spirit) and even Biyomon and Gatomon becoming Examon somehow (Digimon All-star Rumble)? I would call it Hyper Digivolution, a special Digivolution that would take a lot to pull off. I can see this happening in two ways: *Method 1, Blessing:* The Digimon becomes blessed with the strength from another more powerful Digimon, and this can trigger a super powerful Digivolution that causes the Digimon to Digivolve into said powerful Digimon. *Method 2, Overclocking:* Basically, overloading a Digimon's data so hard that it Digivolves into a state that's even stronger than their base Mega Level. The main drawback being, using it for way too long can send your Digimon back to Baby Level or potentially evening killing them in the process!
I really like the idea of an amor form with all digimentals. The immediate image that popped on my mind was something akin to Chimeramon but not evil, which kinda fits with the 02 theme. Also, wouldn't Hudiemon fit your last idea? It would be cool to see more of those.
Isn't the number 1 concept basically Biomerge Digivolution but just at lower levels and with more characteristics of the humans? I think Digimon Frontier would have been a bit more interesting if the Spirits that they collected were actually In-Training Digimon that would then evolve up to Rookie level when the Beast Spirit was found. Just like the Rookie forms that you gave to them but maybe let them be more bestial since the humans would provide the human part of the digivolutions
One type of Digimon mode change I'd think would be sweet would be an Omimon Human jogress evolution similar to how lobomon and agunimon had rookie human like forms and Gabumon and Agumon Bond of Courage and Friendship Human forms
Number 7 has happened before in the Xros wars manga with darknightmon kinda. He becomes a skull knightmon pure at the every end. Theirs some good fan art for the number 8 idea. I remember in a D&d digimon campaign I’m in we have a jogress of beowulfmon and rhahimon named wiglaftmon who has the best of both parts and was a corrupted version of one of the players.
i think number 7 i can counter it with a better alternative: Purified Darkness version of dark digimons like Kaiser Leomon/Löwemon are purified forms of Duskmon/Velgrmon but still maintain being a dark type digimon. it interesting concept that need to expand on.
I like the dark- armor digivolution. Like V-mon's courage dark armor would take aspects of black agumon, virus greymon, skull greymon and machinedramon
I like Dark Armor Digivolution and the idea that there is Dark Crests or Digimental given to Evil Dark Tamers maybe there can be a balance of good and evil in the Digital World and the Evil Dark Digidestines are there to bring balance in a way to the good Digidestines sort of, you can have Crest of Hatred, Betrayal, Sadism, Megalomania, Violence, Narcissism, Depression to name a few what would Veemon look like with this Digimental of Hatred or Wormmon with the Digimental of Megalomania if Yolie used the Digimental of Narcissism on Hawkmon which is Mimi’s worst trait. But like I said what if there was Dark Digidestines to keep the balance of Good and Evil that is a great concept and it would be interesting if we get a series in the perspective of Evil and you can have these Dark Digidestines going around destroying Holy Digimon you can have Seraphimon, Ophanimon, and Cherubimon as villains in their point of view while Lucemon is their guide and Neutral ground beings like Huanglongmon and the Digimon Sovereigns act as guides to them that is an interesting idea.
Damn. It’s scary having a thought then not a day later hearing someone say it back to you or something close to it. I thought of having Lucemon having Divergent digivolution where he splits in two because his mass of data is so large then digivolves. I was planing on used a Black Angemon and A White devimon. They are both the same Lucemon just in two forms.
Considering Frontier is still my favorite season ever since I was a child I've always wondered what the other digidestined would have looked like if they could unified spirit evolve with their spirit forming the base. For example I had a concept when I was younger for if Zoe (or Izumi for the original Japanese) could unified spirit evolve into a digimon called Titaniamon based on the fairy queen Titania. It always drives me crazy when only the main hero and the rival get special evolutions because all digimon should have the potenitial to grow into something amazing.
I know one fanfic out there (Yang Yin, an AU where Ophanimon's the bad guy), Koichi and another kid get Unified Spirit Evolutions. Koichi's was called PharaohSphinxmon, I believe.
Its funny you brought up elemental shifting. Give me my SnowAgumon Greymon line. Hell, fanart exists of it and it looks awesome, what with the coolant being pumped through the WarGreymon armor.
I would like to see environmental digivolution or "biome evolution" where the digimon absorbs the data of the environment it's in and incorporates advantageous abilities or body parts to give them a "home advantage" in any location. Like maybe Patamon becoming a champion that looks a lot like him but now he has luscious fur for the cold or his wing ears become fin ears for underwater stuff? What do you think Karn??
Isn't that the gimmick of aegiosmon. The half man half goat god man digimon. Where green is plant, where as blue is machine based Edit: it was actually Aegiomon
I love the ideas like the human digimon fusion and like the multi biomerge stuff! Just as like an addition on the biomerge, what about something like the tamer has multiple partners and they do like a dnd digivolution of the partners mixed with a biomerge. I think that'd be interesting myself!
Your number 1 didn't make me think of Frontier at all... it made me think of Tamers... because you just described Biomerge evolution. Anyway... the only ones I would actually want to see is the 02 kids using their Digi-eggs like the Spirits in Frontier where they can combine their Digi-eggs to double Armor Digivolve. Or Triple Armor Digivolve in Veemon's case. I do also like the idea of Armor Digimon evolving further which we have KIND OF seen before with things like Rapidmon becomming Megagargomon. Technically he was an Ultimate level variant at the time not an Armor evolution but I could still imagine a golden version of Megagargomon evolving from the Armored version. Speaking of which, what about combining Armor Evolution with DNA evolution so that Magnadramon and Rapidmon, the two Golden Armor Digimon, could DNA Digivolve together. Also... your idea to do a Digivolution where a Digimon splits into 2 or more Digimon rather than combining... I like it but I wouldn't really make it an evolution where they get stronger. It'd be like a de-evolution. And the main reason I actually want to see this is the Fusion version of MetalGreymon. The fact that he Digivolves by fusion together a Greymon variant with Mailbirdramon makes we want to see an Adventure variant of Mailbirdramon reverse engineered from the machine parts of Adventure MetalGreymon just like Mailbirdramon becomes the machine parts for Fusion MetalGreymon.
I didn't describe Biomerge at all 😂 What I am describing is the exact INVERSE of Biomerge, Biomerge being a Digimon taking on MILD human traits through merging and the human exists INSIDE that Digimon form, not a human with Digimon armor and abilities that is the same size as a human and retains most of the person's features like Carnage Forms or Burst Evolutions as I described pretty clearly the big difference lol
2:07 You mean like what Lucemon did to himself and the other six lords did when they were defeated by the Royal Knights? Turning himself and the other lords into swords that his Diaboromons servants used in battle until they were ready to make their final move. 3:31 Yeah, like WhiteKnightmon.
The human-Digimon fusion you're describing reminds me of the latter arcs of the MegaMan Battle Network anime! I remember really loving those episodes. I don't know if this is a concept that already exists, but I like the idea of like... cross-contamination? That sounds very negative, but it wouldn't necessarily be like that (it could be, but it would depend on each individual case and it wouldn't be the inevitable result). Basically, the idea that when Digimon de-fuse/de-jogress, part of the data gets mixed up and the Digimon end up in hybird forms of themselves afterward. For example, imagine an Omnimon turning back into Agumon and Gabumon, but the Agumon now has a few Gabumon-like qualities and the Gabumon now has a few Agumon-like qualities. Plus, this could also lead to them unlocking access to each other's evolutionary lines or even create new individual Digivolutions that also combine traits of each other.
The equipment based idea is something I've been toying with myself. However rather then digimon being augmented by another ones data, it would be for their human partners. Since various shows have shown data scanning/acquisition (usually by defeating another digimon) it would be nice to see a more creative use of it rather then just filling an xp bar (or would it be dp bar). Imagine a digimon struggling with an opponent only for their human to call upon data from a Commandramon conjuring a M16 and provide their partner with covering fire.
Now I'm imagining a human equipping themselves with data from a Gundramon and straight up becoming a Gundam to defend their partnered Lopmon... (Wait a minute... Isn't this just Bio-Hybrids again?)
A jogress between Hercules kabuterimon in the dark version of him like the black/blue beetle the one who lives in the digital jungles would be amazing because it's essentially the to differentiating 0ath branches that his Mega can go so if you haven't drove rest between both like the king of insects and like the god of the sky insect it would be pretty interesting 2 megas Fusion we don't really have like straight Mega fusions
I don’t know if this is an actual thing yet, but environmental evolutions. More so when digivolving with a digivice. So if they digivolved in space, space evolutions.
Hey sorry me again. Just wondering isn't your last pick about human evolution the same thing as what happens in Tamers? I could again be wrong and not understanding as I'm still catching up and diving into digimon. But even tho yes Gallantmon can be a thing without human fusion, he was frist shown and created by Partner and digimon fusing togather. Same with MegaGargomon and Sakuyamon. Is your idea expanding on that or would it be fully its own way of human fusion?
No it's the opposite of Biomerge lol Check out the examples I showed like Toko Mirage Sessions. It is predominantly human with Digimon accents. Human sized, human shaped. Biomerge is predominantly Digimon sized and shaped.
@@Karn_EX Aah okay so more human then digimon kinda fuse okay i get it. Thank you again for taking the time to explain. It helps alot keep up the good work and great content. I'm sure I'll have more questions down the line haha
Thanks for watching, notification gang! Hope you all have a WONDER holidays!
Let me know your favourite of these new Evolution comments in the replies to this comment 👇👇👇
(And yes I know Lucemon gets Larva and Satan Mode but that is NOT Mitosis Digivolution lol)
I loved number one. Currently in a digimon D&D campaign where doing most of the players have had kids with digimon. So they have hybrids that we are using in our sequel campaign.
#8. dual typing is something that NEEDS to happen with digimon
Human/digimon fusion? Like Nene and Shademon in the manga?
Can Buyee be used in Malaysia?
I would really like to see the "Light Evolution" of Lilithmon like a Ascension Mode maybe?
Definitely!
Do know there is a fanart but it just lilithmon but white
Funny thing is I had already thought of the same concept, then again I've come up with my own two Digimon partners and their own Digivolution line.
Didn't we kinda have that with susanoomon in frontier?
@@willjens1269 only for the final fight
So funny thing about is it's the same concept so you're just stacking fusion with fusion.
There's a Daiken au concept going with Matrix Jogress
See i love the Light digivolution idea! Perfect moment for it would have being in Tamers when Impmon digivolves into Beelzamon properly due to the love of his partners. That pivotal moment of turning to good and embracing it would have been a great time for something like that! They even sort of hinted at it with him growing wings and repurpasing the toy gun Mako gave him.
good news on number 6 for anyone that comes across this, they did make a Gargoylemon evolution not too long ago. Gargoylemon was not in that specific vpet though. (it's manticoremon for the unaware)
(also dark armor does theoretically already exist in the form of DarkMaildramon.)
I'd love to see the "light mode" digivolution of a redeemed villainous digimon at some point in the future. Would be a wonderful story moment!
I think one of the reasons I like Tamers so much is that the ultimate evolution for the main gang was a fusion between tamer and Digimon. Wish there were more of that
Definitely would like to see the concept explored more!
@@Karn_EX I could also see one of the protags trying to force an evolution, much like Tai did, and it resulting in a chaotic fusion that’s less humanoid and more beast like
with #4
it is specially fitting as Veemon is the only "goggle head" partner Digimon to never go dark
Tai's Agumon became SkullGreymon (even Virus MetalGreymon in 02)
Takato's Guilmon became Megidramon
Takuya became wild & kinda dark when her first became BurningGreymon
Marcus's Agumon had the ShineGreymon Ruin Mode
Shoutmon fused with NeoMyotismon (the most dark Shoutmon ever got)
we know Gammamon has a dark evolution
so yeah, Veemon is the only one without any dark evolution
Very true!
I like the sound of this “dark armor evolution.” I feel it could provide some pretty interesting Digimon designs. Though, I’m also just a sucker for dark evolutions in general.
I really like the idea of element shifting for the Witchelny Digimon. 👀
A darker series could have the concept of digivolution being caused by the devouring of code from other Digimon, in a literal sort of "you are what you eat" method. We've at least seen hints at this in Tamers and Frontier.
Hmm yeah that could be interesting, explore the data absorption in Tamers a bit more
Most definitely.
Like Manga DarkKnightmon's Xrosses?
@@Karn_EX
@@Karn_EX don't forget Frontier, with the mirror guy absorbing Seraphimons data
I even made up some Double Element Evolutions:
- Flame + Metal = MoltenGreymon
- Light + Darkness = DuskGarurumon
- Wind + Water = StormKazemon
- Ice + Wood = Taigamon
- Thunder + Earth = TerraKabuterimon
How you justify these evolutions surpassing Cherubimon’s power?
@@leonardofarias8843 Because it’s still all 10 spirits, just redistributed so everyone gets to be in the fight
Hey hey hey
Human-digimon fusion happened in the digimon fusion manga.
You used Raidramon (Appmon) as a silhouette for the hypothetical Raidramon evo, peak comedy right there!
Glad someone got that 👉😁👉
Uprise evolution and element shift evolution kind of remind me of a fan digimon I made last year, it was meant to be a burst evolution of lilithmon that was based on the idea that it was a flip side to Ophanimon. took that idea and created "Lilithmon Ophanim mode" which was a more angelic version of Lilithmon that had a set of eyed rings(the ophanims that Ophanimon are based on) that it could use to change its type and attribute mid battle and would affect two of its special attacks, one ring allowed her to shift between the neutral, holy and dark types to change her "Eden gauntlet" into a neutral shield, a holy lance or a dark claw along with a ring that shifted between the free, vaccine and virus attributes to change her "nazaar wings" attack between a horde of snake headed tentacles that poisoned a target, angelic wings that produced a rain of healing feathers or a pair of powerful limb to grapple an enemy
This reminded me of a concept and art I would love to see of the 02 cast jogress altogether or ex-veemon fusing with angemon or gatomon, etc
Love the idea of the element shift. A greymon suddenly shifting to a deep icy blue and spitting out a ball of freeze would be so sick
Glad you agree!
A season in Witchelny could use that idea
First sub of my new year :P
You earned it, iv binged half your channel in 2 days o.o
Aww thanks so much!
Great ideas Karn, I had also had ideas for double elemental spirits.
Ice+ Thunder/lightning = Odinmon.(Odin is a Norse deity with relations to thunder via his spear gingnir(if I remembered it correctly))
Wind+Ice= Boreasmon. (Boreas is God of the north winds)
Fire+ Earth(+darkness)= Tartarusmon. (Tartarus is a greek primordial and basically greek super hell)
Water+Darkness= Styxmon. (The river Styx, Greek underworld river.)
These are just some, also great video, looking forward to the Boxing Day video!
It's super close, not IDENTICAL to what I want but yeah probably the only example of it you could say happened
Human/Digimon fusion has been done by Digimon before. Spoilers for Hacker's Memory but (at least in the story's narrative) Erika fused with Wormmon and still kept her humanity. Another example being Nene fusing with Shademon in the Xros Wars manga.
Hudiemon is not the same as what I described. Nene is closer.
Hmm yeah that's sort of where my number 1 pick goes so I like that!
In the case of darkness mantels you could have it be the opposite of the existing mantels,
Courage becoming fear,
Friendship or loyalty becoming betrayal.
Love becoming hate,
Reliability becoming selfishness.
Sensarity becoming dishonesty.
Knowledge becoming ignorance.
Hope becoming dispare,
And kindness cruelty
Or even just do a seven deadly sins thing and say that the demon Lords made them to counter the crest barrers.
And in the last fusion example,
1 that's basically biomerging but with a more frontier spin to it.
Biomerge Jogress is basically Susan. All of the kids are in there piloting it. It takes two Digimon and combines thems 🤷♂️
Digo-armor and dig I crests? Sounds like a serious experiment to do with in virtual reality to me.
Elemental shift evolution. Interesting idea. I would prefer all the digimon partnered with the digidestineds do all the slide evolution.
Looking forward to that video you hinted at. That was one of my favorite concepts of this video so I'm interested to see your take on it
Coming soon!
Number 5 technically exists for the Frontier season with them going Susanoomon if you want to go with the megazord theme to it that you mentioned. Though it was an end season form that we only got to see used once.
Nope Susan isn't what I mean. I mean literally a Megazord with each Digimon being a limb piloted by a kid more similar to Omnimon
Oooh exciting! Thanks so much for watching!
I would love too see armor jogress like v-mon Evolve with both armors (friendship and courage)
I'm having a blast as always and definitely more people should get subscribing to your channel👏👏👏👏
EXCELLENT CONTENT!
As always fun, entertaining, informative, you got it all👍
Haha is it any weirder than Biomerge in Tamers?
And aww thank you so much that means the world
@@Karn_EX I don't know, to me bio merger in Tamers made sense lol Maybe not at first but it sure grew on me xD Except for Ryo and Cyberdramon turning into Justimon😌 But that's a personal opinion😅
Seriously, I'm watching your videos about ranking the crest digievolutions and it's a blast.
I can see this happening in two ways:
*Method 1, Blessing:* The Digimon becomes blessed with the strength from another more powerful Digimon, and this can trigger a super powerful Digivolution that causes the Digimon to Digivolve into said powerful Digimon.
*Method 2, Overclocking:*
Basically, overloading a Digimon's data so hard that it Digivolves into a state that's even stronger than their base Mega Level.
Hudiemon is more like a traditional Biomerge. It's close tho.
Digital Santa Karn comes to an end till next digichristmas and Happy Holidays
Happy holidays bud!
I live your change so much, that I forget that it's a small channel, don't stop, keep going I'll always watch your vids♥️
Thank you :)
I definitely liked the concept of Double Armor Or Super Armor Evolution. Plus, I also lied seeing humans and Digimon combine together.
Glad you liked them!
Not really no. It's like the examples I used. Humans augmented by Digimon not just a Digimon with a human inside it.
One type of Digimon mode change I'd think would be sweet would be an Omimon Human jogress evolution similar to how lobomon and agunimon had rookie human like forms and Gabumon and Agumon Bond of Courage and Friendship Human forms
Wouldn't number 7/uprise mode be kinda what happened to Baalmon in Xros Wars?
I was really looking forward to this one and it ended being super cool!
A little heavy on fusing things with each other tho haha
Unfortunately there's just few other types of evolution that haven't been done lol
Nope not quite the same idea as SkullKnightmon is a lower level than DarkKnightmon but similar
i think number 7 i can counter it with a better alternative: Purified Darkness version of dark digimons like Kaiser Leomon/Löwemon are purified forms of Duskmon/Velgrmon but still maintain being a dark type digimon.
it interesting concept that need to expand on.
3:40 I did this in my Digimon fanfic with RizeAngemon!
PS: I also kinda did Number 6 and 5 looool... and 3, we're on the same wavelength
Hah nice!
2:15 Like with dukemon jet thing or Alphamon Duryken (can't remember the spelling)
Your number three feels like an idea I had not too long ago and I haven’t even heard of it before very strange but worth pointing out to me
Cool!
Where green is plant, where as blue is machine based
Edit: it was actually Aegiomon
Human/digimon fusion was already done in Tamers, with the Biomerge Digivolutions.
Nope. Not what I'm talking about as I gave clear examples of the difference.
@@Karn_EX Not really. I didn't see any difference in what you showed and what Biomerge did.
Really looking forward to the dark armor video.
Me too 👀
Now that you mentioned it, I wanna see good versions of the evil digimon from the series
I love the ideas like the human digimon fusion and like the multi biomerge stuff! Just as like an addition on the biomerge, what about something like the tamer has multiple partners and they do like a dnd digivolution of the partners mixed with a biomerge.
I think that'd be interesting myself!
Thank you!
And ooh yeah that could be really fun!
Can u make a video of what fusion evolutions and “mega” evolutions would look like for the rest of the digimon frontier kids
2:07 You mean like what Lucemon did to himself and the other six lords did when they were defeated by the Royal Knights? Turning himself and the other lords into swords that his Diaboromons servants used in battle until they were ready to make their final move.
3:31 Yeah, like WhiteKnightmon.
No and no, swing and a miss lol
@@Karn_EX Lol
I have a drawing of Kari as Angewoman riding Magnadramon with Nefertimon in the background.
Ooh yeah that could be fun!
My only issue with #10 is that it makes me just want a digimon season where the digidestined have twin or two digimon
Light Beelzemon would be cool
The equipment based idea is something I've been toying with myself. However rather then digimon being augmented by another ones data, it would be for their human partners. Since various shows have shown data scanning/acquisition (usually by defeating another digimon) it would be nice to see a more creative use of it rather then just filling an xp bar (or would it be dp bar). Imagine a digimon struggling with an opponent only for their human to call upon data from a Commandramon conjuring a M16 and provide their partner with covering fire.
Hahaha that would be incredible
Now I'm imagining a human equipping themselves with data from a Gundramon and straight up becoming a Gundam to defend their partnered Lopmon...
(Wait a minute... Isn't this just Bio-Hybrids again?)
I think that happened in season 3 with the card attacks.
What I like to see is swap evolution were two digimon can swapped a power or weapon with each other
cool ideas i personally would see the most double armor that would be fun
Number 10 exists kind of already in form of "Partition" in the V-Tamer Manga or Xros Open in Xros Wars.
No it's the opposite of Biomerge lol
Check out the examples I showed like Toko Mirage Sessions.
No problem! Thanks for watching, means a lot!
was that kiria in the thumbnail?
i am a digimon and tokyo mirage sessions fan. i see them both together, i click
Haha it all makes sense with my #1 pick!
@@Karn_EX one comment:
YES
