Now I see why my cousin loves her job as a flight nurse! She’s always working every time we talk! I can see now that she works an unpredictable career! You two are amazing at what you do!
thank you so much!!!
My son he was medical pilot in covid . I heard many stories from him. You guys work is really great and I really respect you
whew I'm sure he had some stories especially during covid!! thank you so much!
This was amazing!!!
I don’t know how you do an overnight shift, but I just know you do what you have to do. I thought about going back to school for nursing. Thank you for sharing
thanks girl!! Lol I love overnight it’s deff a choice to do it. goodluck if you do go back! ❤️
I was a flight nurse with your hospital during my application and starting grad school 🥹 always dreamt of making vlogs but never did. So happy to see all of these buildings and sights again (oddly, the stairs up to the office!). Enjoy every moment, I miss transport every day!!!
transport is the best!!💕

Ahh so exciting!! Thank you SO SO much for following!!! ❤️❤️
I graduate Nursing School next month! This is wonderful❤
congrats!! So exciting!! And thank you!! ❤️
Great video! I have wanted to be a flight nurse since I was 16 years old. I am working on a medsurg unit right now as an LPN but I am in school working towards my RN. Do you have any tips or recommendations on where to go next when I graduate with my RN?
I would definitely get started early on some ICU/ER experience and spend a few years there if you eventually want flight nursing. Goodluck you absolutely can do it!!
What was your process or journey of becoming a flight nurse
Looks like an awesome job. What was your experience before flight nursing?
I have a whole video on my path to flight nursing you should check out for more detail because my journey was quite unique, but I was a pediatric ER nurse for the majority of my career!
Can you share how you became a flight nurse ?
uploading a video tomorrow with this!!!
I absolutely love you and I am not a nurse but I absolutely love your channel and I just subscribed today to you have a great night
omg you’re so sweet! thank you ❤️❤️
can you share what trainings i need to accomplish? i have bsn and rn already
Hi! I have another video where I go over how I got there & the experience & things like that! ❤️ th-cam.com/video/RjMwWkF-xCI/w-d-xo.html
Beautiful
AWESOME AWESOME!! SO INTERESTING
Glad you enjoyed it
Being late to work when relieving crews is a bad thing. What if a flight comes in 5 minutes before you are due in? Someone gets to work unwanted overtime.
Def understand! For me, I prioritize MY TIME. If my shift starts at 3pm I will be there at 3pm because that's what I'm scheduled for. It's all about what's important to you. If you let them, this career (any nursing job) will take every minute of your life. For me, it's a form of self care. Also flights don't just "come in". Theres a patient, then dispatch sets up the necessary team and then we go pick them up or take them out. Also also, theres multiple teams with multiple shifts trust me they'll get it covered. It's different scheduling then normal nursing. Thanks for commenting! :)
@@aysiajanee I guess I'm being a little nostalgic. Lol Things have changed, for sure. My medic license expired some years back, but Vanderbilt Life Team emailed me a while back begging me to interview. Sure was tempted to re-up just to work for Vandy. They've a large fleet of heli's operating in middle Tennessee. I always wanted to work for Air Evac, but was an EMT while in the street.... anyway, have a great day.
@@RealWoutLies so fun!! Def always tempting to go back. I'm sure you have some great stories!! Have a great day too!! :)
Great video
thank!
Hi, question for you! Do these companies have height and weight restrictions for flight nurses? I am a 6’3” male nursing student and flight nursing is my dream specialty
To be honest, I had heard that from some others but I hadn't heard that where I worked. We had a taller guy on our staff too. that flew.
i want to be one, what trainings do i need? i have bsn rn already
posted my journey to flight nursing. hope it helps! ❤
Graduating in May. I’ve already received med surg position offers but want something exciting like this! Where do I even start? What advice would you give for someone wanted to do this also? 😊
posted a new vid of my journey to flight nursing. Hope it helps!! ❤
@@aysiajanee I don’t see it
Can I jump from emt to a flight paramedic in like schooling?
honestly I'm not sure about the emt/ paramedic side of things I only know nursing, sorry!
I want to be a nicu, emergency peds nurse neurosurgeon , and a nurse anesthesiologist ❤. I am working on my prequisites right now.
Whew! All the things. And you can do them ALL! You've got this. We're all rooting for ya 🤗
Why did you change in your car
I don’t wear my flight suit into the house. So I wear tights & a long sleeve into my car & put the suit on top.
@@aysiajanee ok thank you. Nice

How are you allowed to have those long nails?
Honestly I do what I want until I'm ever told different lol. Never been told different.
@@Shoppingisfun245 lol aww thank you so much for the comment :) And how do you work with the patients again?
