I recently brought on 8 of the BEST Splatoon players to compete in a best of 7 random teams set, with a twist. 1 Person from each team would be assigned to throw the game, only getting points if their team lost. The competitors also didn't know the twist until the day of the event. See if you can figure it out.

This is a fun way to shake up matches though! It'd be fun to see players of different skill levels try it too, like would it be harder to spot a B rank player throwing a match? :o

I know you’re making a part 2 of this match, but I’d love to see more of this with other top players too!! This was so creative and funny too! It would be even cooler if you did this again at the beginning of Splat 3 when everyone is still trying to figure out all the new mechanics. That would be pure chaos.

I think it would be even better if you told the throwers to throw in a specific way like how bagel was throwing clams off or if you told them to ignore the objective or waste their special or something.

Had a rainmaker match yesterday where after our first push got us down to 11 my team just stopped trying to do anything. I had to clutch it out to stop the enemy push at 12 and barely win. Was like two minutes straight of my team just trying to throw.
