What I've come to find out is flavor of the month people are generally worse than those who stick to 1-2 characters. Play what you enjoy and MASTER it.
@MarcelianOnline ive watched dozens of tier lists and you guys are the only ones making FUN tier lists. May i suggest you make a tier list with taking Transmog into account. To me thats one of the biggest things out there. I want a character that looks cool, and picking up undead shadow priest felt really bad no matter what i put on it, it looked bad except 1-2 t mogs. Id love to see a tier lists of alts based on their T mogs taking into account that a cloth wearer shadow priest can wear some t mogs from mages and warlock for example. I think that would be a fun tier list to watch! thanks
I can tell you thats worth. I spend like 4/5h per day applying for +27/+28 keys and im not receiving any invitation. After that i get bored then i reroll to any alt to have some fun. Im fury warrior btw!
Just play what is fun.... play everything until that clicks for you. I play ret and marks hunter.. why? Because it's simple and fun as fuck with big numbers.. people over think this shit. If its fun just play it. Fuck the meta. Fuck top dps. And fuck what other people think.
This is how I feel also, if you play what is fun you might even out DPS a Sweaty FOTM Havoc player because you're more skilled on a spec you've played for multiple patches/expacs, best feeling ever. Plus, if I invite a Hunter and find out he is Survival I'm not kicking him, I'm rooting for him :D
Good luck getting invited into pugs if you are not playing a meta spec. on my fury warrior I always have to do my own keys which is kinda inconvenient if I need a specific item from a certain dungeon or want to level a specific dungeon
I agree people who will only acept people playing a certain class or spec forces people to either do their own keys or play the Meta classes and specs, it takes away the fun factor of playing WoW when in my humble opinion there are way too many elitist who don't see the game as it should be which is having fun and helping people gain dungeon running experience and get good enough gear to be able to complete the higher keys. I had stopped playing WoW for awhile because I got tired of being turned down when trying to get invited to even Mythic 0 which doesn't have a timer just because I didn't have any exerperince on that toon running that Mythic. People should be able to play whatever class or spec they want and still be able to run Mythics and raids, but again there is WAY too many people playing WoW who don't care about helping people gain that experience and get the gear needed to complete higher keys.
I always plays off meta class. I started season 1 as Shadow Priest, and once became meta spec I turned to feral druid. I enjoy outnumbering in dps meta specs, just for fun. Same for healers: my high geared healers are holy pala and holy priest....and I receive a lot of comments in pugs telling me that they are impressed with my numbers. Just play what you want. I play keys between 15 and 23 , no more. Its almost impossible go higher if you just pugging
I hate outnumbrering meta specs or ppl with much higher ilvl than mine bcs i know i do many mistakes and still i do more than them, (ofc im talking also about cc's or giving utilits to group ) its anoying for me and im feeling like they just dont give af about other ppl in group. Dont get me wrong i dont want ppl to squize this 2k dps and sweat all the time, just be more competitive and be average not the best.
Bro I main elem sham which has never been meta this xpac and go easily in all key +25. Just know your shit and your easily above all theses meta slaves
I just started BM hunter, can't believe the damage I do and how easy I can do it. Feel bad. But my fav spec, affliction is crap and my fav class, Rogue needs so much more effort to even get close to my less geared bm
@@Lythion-X If you have trouble navigating that stuff and finding the relevant data wowhead has easy to follow guides that explain gearing, stats, and rotation for your class and stuff too
Survivavibility is definitely up there. Been maining BM for years and this season it was easy to get to 25 keys but at 26+ it becomes hard to get into pug groups despite being good in dps. Ability to perform is not really the Ability to clear.
I think meta only matters if you're doing very high keys. i play vengeance demon hunter and prot warrior atm. I did multiple +20 keys in bolstering/fortified this week on warrior my hp does not even move pulling standard packs and big pulls with bl (like first pack of rise).its above 90% all the time and prot warrior if not worst, one of the worst tanks in current meta. so if you're a casual like me and play +20 or 22 max meta shouldn't matter. ofc a vengeance dh does 2x damage has silence runes and a lot more utility but its not mandatory to play in low keys. also if you know how to play your spec, you'll probably do alot better than fotm meta players.
I am sorry but I think only inviting people who are playing a certain class or spec makes it so people are forced to play those classes and specs and not ones that they will have fun playing. I think that people should be able to play whatever class and spec they want and still get invited to any Mythics or raids, just because someone else might not do well with a certain class or spec doesn't mean that I would do the same quaility of playing and in fact might be super helpful clearing a Mythic or raids. Meta in my humble opinion hurts the game because it takes away the fun factor of the game, and games are supposed to be fun and not feel like either a second job or be crazy stressful, and I think that people need to start helping and letting people join their Mythics so that they can learn the mechanics or a boss fight, because I have been declined an invite to a Mythic 0 key because I don't have any experience on that character when in fact I had just hit 70 so of course I don't have any experience running that dungeon on that toon because I just hit 70.
Playing pala for some time now, all 3 specs but maining Holy. Been horrible, Meta, down the gutter. Whatever is most important is how you play and how you enjoy it. Raiding heroic and doing keys up to 24 is all fine. Once you go up from there, yeah then it might matter.
Problem with meta specs, the real problem is, blizzard, its blizzard that decide WHO Will or Will not be meta. Could they buff none meta specs, yes, they clearly could, they could buff and balance what is the non meta but they choose not to, there are several classes that are not meta and that has to work 2-3 times harder, wait 10 times longer in ques to get invited to a dungeon and it is 100% only blizzards fault for being to lazy and care to little about the people paying for their game to do almething about it. Its a simple change in the caracter Thats needed, lower cooldowns or increse damage/healing/survivability, but blizzard simply does not care at al
Idk if mist monk is meta but its the most fun ive had with a healer in YEARS. Fistweaving just clicks with me for some reason. I dumped my 480 resto druid for my mist and never looked back.
It just shows how shortsighted is blizzard on this. You rework 3 classes in an expac and dont understand why they are meta after that. They got the whole package: dps, utility, survivability. And then they abandon the non meta spec with poor mechanics and just pump the numbers. Thats one way to push the flavor of the month, then they create legendaries and balance classes around it. Seems the hatchet didnt fall on the correct people...
Stopped playing because of the meta shit . Got my fury to 3.2k , 488ilvl . There havent been anything to do for weeks only keys so i got burned out quickly. After 24's no way you are getting invited as warrior XD Oh btw still no legendary which became like mandatory for str users ... JUST TO BE BELOW EVERY OTHER BIG CLASS (continuouskills since day 1 , every diff . dozens of hours played) , wow really lacks class equity and endgame grind . they also need to start rewarding players time more.
Meta are yours fingers and hability on your class... u can play broken class now with no exp no have nothing realy... i think this ranks or tier list needed dissapear because alot people playing sometimes class and not like playing or enjoying game because this force to playing meta or something for others... enjoy you game you pay a month for it no for playing arround meta or tier list... its a game no another work maybe for some players yes.. but main point its enjoy the game with your class choice.. thanks❤

Disagree, been playing WoW since release, never chased a meta, but work, house, wife, kids, real life ... I will be next season, because I think wow is life and want to be the best... no ... but because it will reduce the time I need to spend which is limited anyway, standing in Queues , getting declined from keys etc etc

Yeah, this season have big diffs between the spec popularity. Majority of players play 4 specs and the rest has pretty low population.

If you played meta you could easily push pass 23s pugging with ease... I have every dungeon at 25 on warrior.

The group finder is basically a dating app. The hot specs get all the swipes and everyone else gets declined or have to do settle for lower level keys

Aug is pretty easy to play but the problem with aug is that it relies on your teammates, and thats a bad thing to do
