      There is a very good reason that they've been around since 1968! Dave is a wizard!

    Very nice heads and work.
    I wish that Edelbrock made the chambers a different shape.
    Hughes did an awesome job.
    Thanks for sharing.
    Take care, Ed.

      The RPM Performers are one of Edelbrock’s top sellers for a good reason, good “all around” output; I’d love to see an in between of these and the Max Wedges.

    Wouldn't out of the box trickflow heads outflow these heads for less than just the CNC work?

  • @mitchellferre1652

    Did you run flat on power because you bought 210cc intake port heads and used a dual plane intake, or was it thd cam size ? If i wanted it to pull hard to 6500rpm i would use the trick flow 240cc heads and a single plsne intake.

      @moparconnection  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      The initial build favored big torque for sure, but we had upgraded to a Chuck Legasse-ported single plane intake long before. Equally, the Trick Flows were either brand new or not released by the time we built this (2013) setup, so they weren’t an option yet.

      Why are we running EFI on our 535 stroker? Because we drive the snot out of it, and Tennessee's bonkers weather makes it all but impossible to keep it happy. Check out the car's build page here: moparconnectionmagazine.com/category/projects/brazen-charger/

    Sadly soon all combustion cars and trucks including classics will be banned from public streets in entire EU and Scandinavia :-(
    In Germany the Green Peoples Party gave order to shorten fuel supply from 2025
    on by reducing all conventional fuel stations to only one state operated central gas station per city or county. Car washs will be forbidden too because they are climate killers, now they want to slow down all the gas station pumps from 20 litre per minute to 2 litre per minute...From 2027 on in the EU certain car spare parts will be banned too....as exhaust systems, turbo chargers and even some engine and gearbox oils...California and New York will do the same from 2027 on.... So no investments should be done in oil burning cars any longer....They even created a new kind of crime here, called emissions and smoke crime.!!! (BABVVEN & TEBBVEN & BEFVO laws)!!!!

      If only the people of the EU had the nerve to stand up to their political "superiors" and reinstate common sense legislation. What a shame.

      @@moparconnection A ban against all internal combustion cars and truck in the entire EU, simply isn't true. Anyhow, it's heavily modified information... I don't know were this guy has that information from, or if he can back it up with something. Or maybe this is something weird German political stuff... Anyhow, here in Scandinavia, and especially Norway and Sweden, we have a very big community of classic american cars (also muscle cars and Mopars)
      Here in Norway we have laws that actually secures our classic car hobby. Like the type of gasoline our classic american cars need (clean high octane), are protected by law!!! We also have a government that have understood that our classic cars are culture that simply can't be banned from using public roads and street... Much of this are thanks to a organisation called AMCAR (amcar.no) , that works political with Norwegian politicians and our Norwegian version of the DMV/DOT. AMCAR works as a guard-dog against politics that want's to sabotage our classic car hobby.

      @@danielnordstrand8977 Great to hear that at least one country has come up with common sense legislation that protects our classic car hobby and the industries it supports as well as the history and progression of the automobiles that we labor to preserve.
