Just because they go into such depth, even for just a simple thermostat, I think I'll show my support and get the radiator adapter and funnel from them.
One question: Is it possible to remove the thermostat, temporarily, from the black plastic water inlet-assembly???
I'm asking because I want to do a coolant flush without having to wait for my vehicle to get up to operating temperature multiple times during procedure.
please keep up the good work!

Geez, someone needs to do some serious rust clean up and management. Great walk through though. Although, I wouldn’t have dropped the skids. Just use a short piece of tubing on the drain.

Please anyone performing this or any coolant service do not use green, orange, blue or universal. Use Toyota pink or Beck & Arnley Pink only. Do Not use Universal, Dex Cool (orange), green or blue.

Great job, I would have checked for leaks before installing engine cover and skid plates...refilling with coolant! Other than that good Vid.

+Ray Supra Full instructions are shown on the website. The radiator hose is removed for this install but they do not mention an oil filter hose. Thanks for watching.

I think in the newer 1gr Fe's you don't need to, but I had to with my 04

+Brian Cox Images Thanks for watching! It depends on how much you lose, but at least a quart or so.
