bro when i do this even when holding w cannot make the distance i fall just short and hit the wall and die do i have to have 100 mobility ? cuz i have 80 i have tried this atleast20-30 times but no luck
There is a small timer between when you hit the Crux checkpoint (Right before the chains/bells) and when the bells spawn. If you are quick enough you can fly by seconds before they show up.
I've got the skating part down, but the switch to blink just kills me everytime. My guy just blinks with zero momentum and dies, no idea how you do it.
@@lespaul2000 W on PC is the key you press to walk/run forwards. on control just hold your left analog stick forward while jumping during your shatter skate.

@@pockpock6382 When he opened the inventory, he swapped from Stasis to Arc. Basically, Skate and use Triple Jump + Stompees to extend that distance and quickly swap to Arc, look upwards and use both Blink charges to gain the last bit of distance you need.
I still don’t know what you’re doing there. How can you project yourself that far with that sword. I use the sword all the time but can only launch a few meters forward 😊
@@bruteunicorn1345 You can blink twice on Warlock also. It's two charges that recharge together, most jumps just aren't large/long enough to use both with the animation taking so long.
With a sword, Lion Rampants and catapult jump you can fly across really easily and consistently, definitely easier to skip this as a titan than the other 2 characters (it's slower though)
Ive shatterskated since eager came out and i honestly use it everyday. Im so consistent that i cant even explain what buttons i press i just do it as it would be one button press
If you're invested in the game enough to do King's Fall then you should probably own all the major expansions that are available lol. There's no reason not to.

You hit the load box for the door, and by the time you started your jump, warlock would have been over the load box and about to hit elevator. The skip is good for lfg runs, but not practical besides that, and is actually a hindrance in anything related to speeds

For now its not a big deal cause u must learn and practice how to do it but if it will be more accessible to average player and can be made pretty easy without much effort or even by mistake - then i can asure you it will be fixed. And everyone will be crying "fun Police again ruining fun!" without understanding that a bug is still a bug. Fun or not. As for speedrunners they will find a way they always do. Bugfixes and pathes never ruins a speedruns only creates new ones. Pretty much sure that this what happend with eager edge. @@grosforid It is most likely going to get patched mainly just so people will use strand when it comes out. While yes it is a bug, not every bug needs to be patched. There are plenty of other games that cater towards the speedrunners and do not remove bugs and glitches because they respect the community and let them do their thing. I'm just hoping it doesn't get patched, it adds a lot more to the game imo, makes it a lot more fun even when causally playing just to go at fast speeds without needing much setup (only thing that takes a while to do is get an eager edge sword if you aren't lucky)
God i wish stasis wasnt so friggen boring and slow to complete... i was told the memory fragments carry over between classes but im guessing that was a lie since i switched from warlock to titan and my titan had none when i finally unlocked it... bungie come on i wanna have fun with it :I
The item carries over, yeah. Meaning you can do the two bounties weekly using each class and then get 6 fragments on one class. Once you finish your favourite one, you can just split 3 and 3 on the other two.

@@woodzy24k13 sorry but no, 1 hunter and 1 titan. Hunter flew 90% of distance to next ship where you go across to hidden chest up wall. Hes normally across before team is even there yet and hes killing next ads. I know he was arc if that helps. I dont do it so i cant offer how he does it, but we raid every sun and before i take ships hes killed next area of ads and has flown back and forth 4-5 times terrorizing us on ships. 🤷🏼♂️ Titan normally jumps to left halfway point but hes made it across a few times. Im a pretty good player, prolly top 10-20%, and they far exceed my skill level. Put it this way. They duo GM nightfalls out of bordem and its easy for them. They are prolly top 1-2%. Fun to watch, frustrating if you are trying to get kills. Lol.

Make sure you are holding W during the jump of your shatterskate in mid air. Pressing w during a skate helps maintain momentum.

It's called Sword-Skating or Shatter-Skating. Hunters and Warlocks can do it, but it's way easier for Hunters.

Fragments carry over but any grenade or aspect doesnt sadly
