- One of our "pick a video" patrons asked us to watch SHINee performing "Picasso". We watched one but felt it wasn't right so we watched a second performance too.

The thing with Onew is that he really isnt hiding that side of him there a many instances where he really leans into it. However to unlock that kind of onew you would have to get a bit deeper into them. Onew is very mature and stern when it comes to it he definitely isn't one to blow his top he is the one who does like finanzes and stuff and communicates with the company in case of emergency. SHINee themselves have said multiple times that he can get super scary when ge gets proper angry and that back in the days he definitely had to a few times in order to keep 4 teenagers in check 😂
I can believe that. You can tell from that Concert where the guys and audience was pressuring him.to show his abs and he just Said No...politely and that was that....then he smiled 😃.....I was like ok....he stands his ground....but is always considerate and polite with the smike as a topper...
trust me, there are times when onew lets loose and it is deadly. also, yes, he has always been the leader. he just chooses to lead from the back, pushing the others to shine.
I love that about him. He is nit greedy or pretentious when it comes to that. He markets and pushes his brothers work/ projects and talent and he does it as a proud papa. But I have seen him in solo stuff...and he shines bright....Just a different tempo with each if these guys.....one constant....they are each other's fanboys....

You should also check out SHINee's performance of "Picasso" at their SHINee World Concert IV (SWC4) in Seoul in 2015. These performance of "Picasso" were from their SHINee World Concert V in Seoul and their SWC 2016 concert in Japan.
If you look up the lyrics for "Picasso" you will see that they are talking about living in a Picasso-like world where everything is like an abstract and beautiful painting, etc. The song is a love song. It's a metaphor for how the girl they like is changing and transforming their world like a beautiful painting. Hence why the song is called "Picasso" because they are referencing the famous painter Picasso. And that is also why you see in their choreography they look like they move their hands and arms like they are painting a picture.
SHINee debuted as Japanese artists in 2011 and, as you are discovering, they have Japanese versions of a majority of their songs, plus, tons of songs that are exclusively in Japanese. SHINee are one of the most popular artists in Japan. They are so popular that they are part of the mainstream music scene and most Japanese citizens don't even consider them foreign artists. They spend about 50% of their career in Japan, so they are fluent in Japanese and they have just as many Japanese albums and songs as they do Korean. Therefore, when SHINee holds a concert in Japan it's almost entirely in Japanese. They don't even need translators when they interact with the audience.
SHINee are so popular as Japanese artists that they are one of the few acts that are actually asked by the Tokyo Dome concert promoters to hold another concert there. Most people have to ask to hold an event at the Tokyo Dome, but with SHINee, executives actually contact SM and ask them to please hold another event there. As I may have mentioned before, the Tokyo Dome is one of the largest concert venues in Japan, which holds 55,000 people, and there is an unwritten rule that in order to get permission to hold an event there you have to be able to fill it to capacity. SHINee are such big-name artists that they know they will have no problem selling out within minutes of tickets going on sale and most likely they will have to have multiple day events because fan demand will be so high. SHINee has even held fan meeting events at the Tokyo Dome that weren't even full concerts and were still able to sell out. Which just goes to show you, how popular they really are.
Fun fact: The SHINee World Concert 2016 in Japan had a live band, so not only are SHINee singing live, but the music is all live too.
They literally perform nonstop and they are singing live the entire time, while performing intense choreography like this for 3 hours straight. For example, this performance of "Picasso" at their SHINee World Concert 2016 in Japan was more than 2 1/2 hours into their almost 4 hour concert, and they perform just like this was the first song of the night. At this concert, "Picasso" was actually the last song in SHINee's rock 'n' roll set of songs, which are super hype with a rock 'n' roll concert vibe, and full of intense choreography. This set started with their Japanese song " Wanted," and then without even skipping a beat they transition into their remixed rock Japanese version of "Lucifer," and then they go right into their rock-inspired song "Burning Up," and then they wrap up this set with "Picasso." And yet, when you watch them perform "Picasso" by itself, you would never know that they had just been going full out for more than 10 minutes before this without a single break, and they also had been performing for more than 2 hours prior to that.
You should take the time to watch both of these whole concerts sometime, even if you can't react to the full thing -- watch it on your own sometime. :D You really can't fully grasp just how magnificent of performers SHINee are until you watch a full concert from beginning to end and see what makes a SHINee concert so unique. It's also worth watching the SWC4 in Seoul as well, because SHINee never performs a song the same way twice, so you will never get bored no matter how many times you have seen them in concert or heard a song. For example, in their SWC4 in Seoul in 2015, "Picasso" is part of a 4 song set where they perform "Sherlock (Clue & Note)" and "Shine" and then their Iconic performance of "Stranger" and then "Picasso" comes next. They don't even have a chance to catch their breath, and yet, right after that, when they interact with the audience, they don't even look or sound like the performance has even started. Someone has reuploaded the whole concert DVD of SWC4 in Seoul -- the whole 3+ hours -- and it even has English subs for all the parts where they interact with the audience, right in the video, th-cam.com/video/6TknOLesUc4/w-d-xo.html. about onew, there's a reason onew biased fans are dubbed the thirstiest of the fandom. he does appear soft most of the times, but once you see it you get it and you're a goner lol
Yes, the very dangerous performances are: Dynamite, Born to shine, Internet war, and Moon. But those are not for the faint of heart lol. Even when you think you're ready, you still aren't lol. Those lives are 🔥🔥🔥

Ok so yeah, SHINee have visited here a few times, but have only done one really small exclysive concert for a special event of about less than 50 people (that I went to. Life-changing.).
I've also travelled to Paris twice to see them, so, if they do a tour and don't come here, then Paris is probably the best bet.
Buuuut I really hope we get a proper SWC in London.
And there is another performance of Picasso at the Tokyo Dome even (way) hotter than that second one you watch... Picasso live is just something else...

ONEW is the oldest and has always been the leader. He was main vocalist (with Jonghyun) since debut. It is true he is very cute and he himself like to be cute 😆.
He is also known as gentle charisma (name given by Minho).
He is also very sexy but more in the subtle way depending of his mood, different performances and different photoshoots.

no onew was lead vocals with debut but now they are all main vocals
@@hanbaebummie3215 Both of them were main vocalists during their debut days but in different ways. They had different tones and each of their had their strength. Instead of competing against each other, they complemented each other. During their rookie days whenever they were invited to radio and singing shows, they often sang either together or solos. Where Jonghyun was known for his powerful high notes, Onew was known for his steady 40 seconds long note and singing opera. Jonghyun was the 1st to have a solo song and Onew was the 1st to do musicals like Brothers were Brave and Rock of Ages.
Key at that time was already an all rounder.
Now all of the them with Taemin and Minho have become better artists as they never stop learning.
@@hanbaebummie3215 Onew was main vocal with Jonghyun. Taemin in 2012 became Lead vocalist and since jonghyuns passing he has become main vocalist.
Evil and DYNAMITE are quite strong performances and I think it would be better if you saw a few different shows as there are different choreographies

Hi, i am back. Good reaction, ty. I have not heard this one. So it was my 1st listen. I liked the suits. I liked the techno in the back. But it was sometimes hard to hear their vocals over the beat. So i need to relisten. Taemin looked like he was feeling himself here. So hot. 0.0 The 2nd live stage...Damn!!! Wow. They all were feeling themselves. Liked all the fits.
