It's come to my attention that Poipole is now transferrable to Home from Go, I mean, I did say that the restriction was probably gonna be lifted, I didn't think it would be before I uploaded though. These Poipole specifically can't be traded over Home right now though, so take that as you will. EDIT: These Poipole CAN be traded over Sword and Shield though, so you can use that to have someone help with those entries. I'm also aware I ended up getting the wrong in person event on Skiddo, however the main point still stands, its unrealistic to assume anyone will have access to it. Shiny Genesect challenge wasn't mentioned, but if its causing issues, for the time being, scanning the Shiny Genesect QR code in a generation 7 Pokemon game clears the challenge.
Fun fact about the points with Behemoth Blade and Behemoth Bash, because prior to The Indigo Disk it was impossible to have a Pokémon with those moves in Home, they just straight up didn't exist in the mobile version and would appear as blank slots. The same went for Astral Barrage and Glacial Lance, but not Freeze Shock and Ice Burn as those moves could be accessed by simply Sketching them in a 3ds game. This was later fixed though, and now all 4 of Behemoth Blade, Behemoth Bash, Glacial Lance and Astral Barrage are available in Home and required for the move Dex.
I figured that out during research, I found it weird that I didnt remember them being on the list until recently. The blank slots thing is interesting, but it makes sense, it might have been to make them not appear in the move dex.
One useful tip I found for anyone wanting to transfer Gen 1 Pokemon from Go to Home is doing it via the Let's Go games. In Go, sending Pokemon from Go to Let's Go is not only free (you can send as many as you want, anytime you want as long as you have space) but it also removes the Go symbol on Pokemon in the Switch Home boxes too. Yeah, you'll need to recatch them in Let's Go and the Go origin mark is still in the summary but now you don't need to look at the out of place Go symbol every time you're flicking through your Gen 1 living dex and seeing the Go symbol everywhere. Handy for getting all the Gen 1 cross-gen evolutions without the Go symbol too.
13:27 OOH! THAT'S ME! I know for a fact that they don't want to add an Origin Mark filter to GTS. I literally asked Support about this years ago and they said something to the likes of the way they're doing is the intended way and won't change it. They DID, however, change the name of that filter to "Games it can travel to" after the fact since the one they had before wasn't clear enough, I guess.
I wonder what the logic is behind not allowing us to filter for the origin mark we’re looking for.. it just frustrates the trading process. It took me so long to complete the Dex for Let’s Go bcos ppl kept sending things from Pokémon Go when I deposited something. The BDSP Dex is also proving to be much more difficult for the same reason. I’m going to have to just make eggs in the game and hatch and evolve 😑 FML.
9:30 a funny thing that can happen due to them already having all Pokemon from Go is that you can register new Pokemon that haven't been released there. I registered the new Hisui and Paldea evolutions for old Pokemon despite them not being in Go.
I'm sorry to hear it. The discord I mentioned in the video also has people who like to touch trade Pokemon for challenges to help people out, so if you wanted to go for that challenge, there are definitely people out there who will help!

Rather, Skiddo has been featured as a City Safari-exclusive Pokemon and might as well be considered the only event-and-regional-exclusive Pokemon. It has been made available in Seoul (Oct 7-8, 2023), Barcelona (Oct 13-14, 2023), Mexico City (Nov 4-5, 2023) and just a week ago in Tainan (Mar 9-10, 2024). Just last night, I found someone was offering a GO-origin Skiddo for a German Treecko at Level 1-10 that could go into Sword/Shield. I searched if anyone was offering that combination, and there were two, one for an Ogerpon (nope) and one for a Landorus. I have plenty of Landorus thanks to GO so I did that trade for the Treecko, but I couldn't trade the Treecko for the Skiddo because I realized too late that the Skiddo was asking for a _female_ and I had traded for a _male_ . So I'm a little annoyed about that...
I probably should've checked exactly which in person event it was more closely, but its effectively the same sort of issue either way. I got my Go Origin Skiddo right before I uploaded the video funny enough, I throw up RNG'd legendaries as bait on the GTS to get the paradoxes to use as effectively a sort of currency towards these kind of trades, the legendary beast paradoxes can get you almost anything on the GTS with a bit of time.
Nice video as always, well done. About BDSP and its absent regional Pokédex, Nincada wouldn't give problems during transfer to HOME since it just isn't able to reach Galar and vice-versa.
Kinda wish I had the means to check prior to uploading, but I actually don't have a completed save file of BDSP anymore, it was on an old switch which died from a bsod.
I think it's safe to say that I will never be able to complete Home's Pokedex or the challenges at this rate. I didn't get a 3DS until December 2018, and I didn't get a Switch until February 2023.
The host a trade room with 20 people can actually be completed so long as you perform a free trade room with 20 people in it. I was farming dex entries with it since I don't own a switch yet. Got it last week

@@SaltedNeos it always has been, it's impossible to do legendary raids unless you live in a super populated area which so happens to have a lot of Pokémon go players.
Half of those Furfrou trades are also trolls, the level 51+ ones are impossible to get. The ones that aren't though, are at least obtainable, even if hard to come by. I can understand people wanting to ask for a rare but legal Furfrou trim.
Believe you have Home mistaken for BDSP, then again, Game Freak themselves are only marginally better at times.

Hello ! Thank you for your video ! About the Snorlex achievement. Transfering the muchlex in switch era then evolving it won't work ? I already transfered my muchlex but didn't try to evolving it.
I thought about it, but between Go, and the people who use the DNS exploit with japanese gen 5 games, its not the most ridiculous thing. I feel like I didn't really know what I'd even wanna say about it. Probably should've mentioned it though, yeah.

Actually, I take all this back, I remember why I didn't include it now, because its literally free. Just scan Shiny Genesect's QR code in gen 7. Even then, I mentioned all shiny dex entries as a requirement and linked to a video discussing all of them, mentioning the Genesect challenge was a bit redundant.

Because I happen to understand the simple fact that its just not viable to keep Pokemon Bank open when its not even able to be paid for anymore. I used to work in IT myself as well, I understand the need for this to eventually happen, and have always felt that Bank/Home was a decision that was going to eventually end this way and disliked the approach. But ultimately, there's no point harassing people over this, they are a business, and at the end of the day, profit is their priority, there is nothing the fans can or will do that will eventually prevent this from happening, every server will eventually close, its not a matter of if, but when.

If you have 2 gen 5 games and 2 consoles, I have an exploit for you instead. What I did was connect to wifi on a second game on the console its not paired to in order to reset the pal pad, then added the same game 32 times. Don't reconnect on the game going for the medal, as that resets the pal pad. The video on my channel titled a global painful connection showcases this at the end.

The issue is how often people leave prematurely. I experienced it first hand Saturday, I got the challenge because of the stream I mentioned.

I refuse to play Go, therefore i refuse to compete Go's dex in the app lol. I have traded for Furfrou and other things ive wanted from Go.
