This is just a fun attempt to sing and play this tricky tune. You guys have been requesting it a lot in my livestreams so I thought I'd post it here too! It's a legendary riff and a great challenge to sing along with the guitar part. Give it a try! I had some syncing issues with the audio and video on this which I couldn't fix. I hope it's not too annoying and you enjoy!

About 10 years ago I hit a real low point in my life and sold off all my guitars for... reasons. Things are a lot better now and I just recently treated myself to a very nice Epiphone acoustic. I'm essentially re-learning how to play guitar at this point. This is my goal song. This channel is my go to for acoustic covers when I'm looking for something new to work on/ mess around with.

I can play this... but on an acoustic and sing it at the same time????? Thats GOD level. I can't believe you nailed it so well. I play this song with my band and they always want me to play it acoustic and I always say thats impossible. Anyone who is unaware this is one of the hardest guitar riffs of all time, and to be able to match up the vocal cadence with the picking pattern of the guitar is incredibly difficult even for a full band where each memeber is focused on just one aspect of the song. Here he is playing the bass the rhythm the lead and the vocals. Kid is amazing
Yeah, you can know quite how difficult this even more clearly when you can actually play it. So I can get the riff to sound decent, though not as good as his. And he’s singing. And doing it for the whole song, mistakes. It’s insanely hard, impossible for me.

I've been playing guitar on and off since 2001, I'm not sure what got me started back in 8th grade, but John and the chilli peppers have certainly been an influence all these years.
Frusciante is my hero. This so is soooo hard to keep up w. I can play the intro twice before my wrist gives out lol. You pulled it off in every aspect tho. Very nice Corey.

my thought when finding an acoustic cover of this song: maybe i will get a slower and easier version than the original, so i can try a little. No, dude blasted it through 105bpm and didn't miss a note plus a perfect vocal. put down my guitar and gave up...lol

you made it look so easy... i'm in awe, Snow is probably one of the most difficult songs to perform but you, good sir, ate it like cake. Im candidly amazed.

I remember first hearing this RHCP song on Rock Band when we got the game for Christmas in 2008. Your cover brought tears of nostalgia to my eyes.
How.... can you do this! That riff is so tricky on its own never mind singing over the top of it.

Corey is making this riff even harder than it was originally. He's keeping the pressure on the lower strings during the hammer-ons. In the video's I've seen, John doesn't do that. I'm sure it sounds nicer with the low strings ringing out but that makes it so much harder to play. Amazing.

Great cover man. I've been listening to it over and over. The vocal harmonies sound great. I love RHCP, and Frusciante is one of my all time favorite musicians. You didn't just do it justice, you slayed it. The main riff is a workout I can manage on my Strat...but on an acoustic, while singing too?
