one of my ex boyfriends and i met thru this band. we dated for a while, broke up and grew apart, then he died of a drug overdose in 2016. we were both struggling through addiction without even knowing it. rest in peace stanton. i hope youre proud of me now. im 11 months clean.

I'm a 65 yr old woman. I became aware of RHCP in the 90's. 30 yrs ago! And they are one of my all-time favorites!! I just think they are SO amazing and unique. What other band out there (that are still together) are so consistent and still making great music after all these years!!❤️

It kills me he left the band. Saw a concert without him and it sucked. He is key with his awesome melody.
This song came out when I was a senior in high school. My group of friends and I would listen to this song everyday. One friend ended up with a bunch of kids and moved across state to live in his in-laws basement, one friend disappeared, one friend became a heroine addict, and I joined the army. 17 years later, this is one of the few things in life that brings back the good memories of my buddies from high school. Life is good for me - I hope the same for my buddies. Thank you for creating this song, as it takes me back to a time when I was carefree and without obligations.

Ermmm what, none of the RHCP (except Hillal) are dead. You should check out their earlier work such as Mothers Milk and Blood, Sugar, Sex, Magik - whilst Snow is definitely one of their stronger songs from the past decade, for me nothing comes close to their late 80s/early 90s work.

Something about this song has always sounded very soothing to me... whenever I'm trying to de-stress or to settle down to bed, it's on my short-list of music to listen to. Everyone booked it, and I couldn’t find the friends I showed up to the party with so I jumped into the bed of another friend’s tiny truck. On the ride home he was blasting this song. I think I discovered one of the reasons why this song is so awesome.:
All of a sudden the guitars and drums accelerates to double speed, while the singing stays at the same speed.
