Oh Mike, I was just at 823 2 days ago! I also picked up the gondola! I loved it. I was in Venice a few years ago and was afraid to bring something that big home. I live in Elkhart. Love the Beardsley Antique mall also. Rosie said you may be coming to Michigan next month. Looking forward to meeting you.
I remember a rotating case like that in the Rexall (drug store, general, and ice cream soda pop bar) when I was growing up in the 70s. The display held jewelry, watches and perfumes. My great uncle owned the store so i often got a free orange float, and a cotton ball with a sample of perfume when I went in to pick up cigarettes for my Mom. Yes under 10. Great shop! Looks like a good one to repeat.
Thank you Susan, I thought for a second it was a incense holder since it was so long. Learn something new everyday. ☺️ thanks Mike for taking us along on your adventures. You’re always a joy to watch. 🥰
A local thrift store has a revolving / rotating display case that has had the same inventory for years … I will always push that button in hope for a new treasure to appear … something about the shelves coming around … anticipation .
Check the clear glass bird to see if it glows I have found the clear ones that have high clarity almost like a magnifying glass will glow either yellow or a soft greenish blue. The big blue cased vase was stunning loved it.
Hey mike...im thinking if youd turned thatvloonnngggggvskunk over youd have seen two fills holes. When those were that long they were both salt & pepper shaker in one critter! Loved him tho! Too cute! Glad you found your favorite yellow bangles! Are those keepers? 😊
Cool! Yeah I didn’t wanna ask to unlock the case to get a closer look at the skunk lol I did grab the yellow bangles and will probably only keep one, so if you’re interested in one for yourself follow me over to Whatnot !
I forgot about the locked case. Those are a pain, but I can understand people wanting to keep their items safe too. Like Kate said, "Is it key worthy?"
Was that “Viking” you were thinking of for the glass ship? You have great taste and knowledge. Another great video from Mike @Well Swung ❣️ P.S. you might want to consider the large lucite/plastic flower power brooches like the green one on the brooch chair 10:58 Might have glowed too. Good point from Pete 👍🏼

Hi Mike, I bet people will be asking for you at the Ohio gathering April 20th. You should be part of it. 😊

It always amazes me at the array of collectibles in any given store.....loved the lil cheese/mouse serving tray.... Safe travels!

That loooong skunk was a salt and pepper shaker . The salt comes out the head and pepper out the bottom/ tail area xo

No, a gondola is a type of narrow boat similar to a canoe. I was just unsure if I was using the correct term, sounded funny lol
Thanks for tuning in!
@@WellSwung then you were if you meant gondola 👍🏼
