LeontariF1 Because when greg Greg downshifts he rev matches with his right foot to make the gearbox revs and engine revs are the same so the teeth slide in perfectly without any harm. You can even do it with a road car if your super careful :)
Great view. How come Greg Murphy down-shift gears without using the clutch since this is a sequential gearbox? Technically, you can do it a few times but on the long run it will hurt the gearbox unless they have some kind of automatic clutch engagement for Greg when he down-shifts.
@@bus5683 You still have to use the clutch on sequential gearboxes when downshifting, you only skip it on the upshifts. Educate yourself before you laugh.
