It’s weird actually, if you have an action and click resolve all, it will go through them one by one like that so you can have time to change your mind.
The number of triggers you get is equal to n * (n + m - 1), where n is the number of basic lands and m is the number of Righteous Valkyries in the battlefield before the triggers go on the stack. The amount of life for each trigger is 4 if your life total is below 27, or (n + m) * 2 + 4 if its greater or equal to 27, *when each individual trigger resolves*. So in the best scenario if you have the 4 Righteous Valkyries on the battlefield and 16 basic lands, and your life total started above 27, you would have 304 triggers, each gaining 44 life, for a total of 13376 life points.
If anyone wants to know how much life he gains from that, it’s 2(n^3+2n^2) where n is the number of basic lands he has (assuming he has only one Valkyrie on the battlefield beforehand) That’s a lot.

Dude, *THAT* shite is about as 'busted' as my personal favorite deck (which I can't even play anymore, unless it's just a simple "casual duel"). I've made it my personal goal to see just how much I can "break" the game when I can manage the collective, but this is just insane. The only deck that I have that could match that *is* my aforementioned deck, and that's probably pushing it. Just imagine using your life gain combo on a tabletop game. That game would be completely FUBAR. I've got to hand you props for this one. *A+++++++++* for demented creativity, dude.

No Maskwood Nexus to World Tree and Then Mystic Reflection to make ALL your creatures enter as a Righteous Valkyrie? Dark Lord... Also I feel like you could just swap out the Esika for Fae of Wishes, put the Maskwood in the sideboard. Then Every creature is an Angel, and a Plant.. so if you land fall you can put more +1/+1 counters. :D
And here I was thinking I was cool with my Orvar Valkyrie combo for a mere 200 LP.. Trying to make a train of angels and the Dark Lord has an angel explosion! Awesome job

I played against someone that had over 13000 life. the had an ajani, wise counselor, and some creature with lifelink, and they kept playing ajani's capstone ability on the creature with lifelink, making it more and more powerful and gaining more and more life
The two batch works. You cast phylath in full control, with etb trigger on the stack cast mystic reflection on phylath. You get N copies of phylath, you choose one phylath (can be the original) and others die, but you still have the triggers on the stack. Then you can let these effects cyclone until you are satisfied with the number of triggers on the stack (exponential growth in the number of triggers). Then you cast the second mystic reflection on the angel with all triggers on the stack. Then resolve. Quite sure the game breaks instantly with already 2 phylath triggers on the stack (20 angels you can imagine). But technically you can have infinite phylath triggers which leads to N*infinite angels, which leads to (N*infinite)^2 angel triggers (just to give an idea of growth) EDIT: Ah yes, mystic reflection does not allow legendary copies. Too bad (You can do it with anything that does 2+ tokens) EDIT2: well in fact the text on mystic reflection says "The next time one or more creatures" which is big sad. Only next batch is affected
If you have two mystic reflections, you can use the first one to target phylath. Twelve phylaths enter and trigger after you sort out the legend rule. Then you use the second Reflection to target the valkyrie. Congrats. 121 valkyries minimum. You have now crashed the server. 34:59 hadn’t finished watching yet lol

add anointed procession in historic, if I'm not mistaken those copied righteous angels would be tokens due to phylath creating tokens. there's ways to get tokens of anointed procession, but with the new limit of 200 tokens, it limits everything you can do, so even if you had 4 anointed processions on field, and 12 lands, you're getting 192 valkyries, and it seems that the triggers are the amount of valkyries copied squared, so you'd get a stack of 36,864 triggers and the toughness seems to be roughly 4+2+2x, x being 192 in this situation, (390 toughness), so you'd gain 14,376,960 life. with 1 mysic reflection, phylath, righteous valkyrie, 4 anointed procession and 12 lands. obviously the game would crash way before a stack of 36,000 triggers would appear, and rip headphone users.
i got to try this out after thinking bout a deck like this for clerics. played all my lands and healed 13k but had to slowly watch it go up because of trelesara triggers..
The maximum amount of life gained with 16 basics in the deck (assuming only one valkyrie before the trigger) can be calculated like so: 16 (for number of valkyries) * 15 (each one triggers for 15 others) + 16 (original triggers 16 times) = 256 triggers (potentially more if you have more valkyries on board already) Each trigger gives either 4 (if < 27 life) or 17*2+4 = 38 (if above 27 life as then they all buff each other by +2/+2) life. So for simplicity, let's say 38, giving 256*38 = 9728 life To get over 10k, you need another valkyrie to start with, giving an additional 16 triggers and 2 toughness, which would give 272*40 = 10880 life Nice
Question if you do this with baneslayer angel and you give control of the artifact that makes all creature all types will your baneslayer army have protection from your enemies creatures

For my standard deck, i like to use myriad construct as a token factory and the nanother cheap 1 cmc spell to trigger it to become tokens, like shock, unsummon or i use snakeskin veil in green. In historic, i splashed my goblo deck into blue to run it as well. Krenko, mob boss, is the best token factory in my opinion. Yesterday i managed to make 78 terror of the peak tokens at the same time but the client lagged out and it was a draw

I once got to almost 20k health, I won that game by sitting there and waiting for my opponent to draw himself to death because he had too many creatures for me to attack with after he killed the massive cat I was using to make all my lifegain.
I just made this deck but im also using search for glory, idyllic tutor, and wishclaw talisman, and fae of wishes to find the combo pieces. I pulled the combo off 3 times in 6 or 7 games so far, true jank! Oh i also am using vaggorth bloody something (boasts) for two mana to do what ravens warning does.
I made this deck a few days ago too, but when I try to pull of the combo I don't get a resolve trigger after playing phylath although I hold a reflection and have the spare mana. Phylath just drops and creates the tokens without enabling me to play the reflection. Any Idea on why that ist?

I built a deck with the same idea, its control though and uses Reflections of Littjarra and an angel sub theme. Has the same crazy ass possibilities and Ive gone from 6 life to like 200 in single turns lol!
I've been working on a version that uses Reverent Hoplite. Its non-legendary, and makes a great backup target if you don't have the angel, or if you have a second reflection.
I don`t know, if someone already thought about it. But it would be hilarious, if each Time when Chris`s Lifetotal explodes the "YUUUUUUUUUGI OH" Soundsample would play.
I once played a white lifegain deck against a blue control deck that ran Remand on an Isochron Scepter (this was kitchen table Magic). I managed to get 650 life before the guy stole my big lifegain creatures, but he drew so many cards that he couldn't kill me before he decked himself. Good times.
I can’t have been the only person mentally screaming at Chris for not playing a second angel before pulling off the combo. Yes the lifegain with just one on the board is insane but with 2 before starting it’s even more
