You should've made one when t3feri was legal. My version also had clear the mind and life gain so I could keep recurring the deck and annoying my opponent for eternity.
Rule of Law is actually a solid block against DIscover, as it stops from popping any additional creatures on the field. I'd say this spell lock deck has a chance of coming back.
5:07 summaries the shuffler perfectly. He has drawn 3 wrath of gods and 3 narsets. The odds of that happening in a well shuffled deck are out of the world. But that annoyance happens all the time in Arena. 6:12 oh lovely a 4th wrath of god.
That's actually not true, the odds of that happening in a well shuffled deck at least once are 100%, considering the number of games played on arena. It doesn't happen regularly at all.
@@Derael, Starting hand has a Narset as the forth card, making it a 1/14 chance. The first Wrath of God is drawn using a Narset. When using this ability you draw 4 cards and select a noncreature nonland card, but because the game displays the cards you can choose ordered to the right side it is impossible to know what order they were drawn. Because of this I will assume that it is the forth card you draw, giving that card the highest chance in that scenario to appear. I will do this for all cards drawn by Narset here on out. Now that that’s out of the way, the first Wrath is drawn at a 4/47 chance. The Second Narset is drawn by Narset at a 1/15 chance, followed by the second Wrath by Narset at 3/44. He then top decks a Wrath at a 1/23 chance. Then uses a Narset to draw the third Narset at 1/21. 3 cards later he uses Narset to draw the Forth and final Wrath at 1/39. Now taking into account of this exact game at this exact pace, the odds of this exact case happening when only accounting for troubled cards would be those odds multiplied together. Giving us 12/8,180,532,360 or 0.000000001466897%. This is close to a 1 in 1,000,000,000 chance. Now realize that I watch this man play this game at least once a day. During recording it would be impossible for this man to play anywhere near 1 billion games, but yet at least once a video he has a bad card draw game with dumbfounding odds much like this. Now knowing that, I hope you understand my misfortune when I watch or play this online game and have it happen enough for me to take note of it.
@@ryanbolson23 The odds of this particular situation happening are indeed very low. However, the odds of any of those strange situations happening are much, much higher. Maybe there is indeed some problem with BO1 shuffler, and I just don't play enough BO1 to notice, but in BO3 this hardly ever happens, at least to me. If there was a problem with a shuffler, it would likely happen to everyone on a regular basis, not just a few people. The thing is, you notice all the "strange" occurrences, precisely because they are unlikely. But you don't notice all the times when nothing strange is happening, so your brain starts to feel that strange things happen all the time, it's called confirmation bias. Admittedly, if shuffler is indeed broken, it would be very hard to prove, since the true nature of randomness is that different scenarios regularly happen. The only way to somewhat reliably detect it is record 500 games with the specific deck, and analyse first 10-15 cards to see if there are any statistically consistent anomalies, but of course nobody will do it. Wizards could do it easily, since they have the logs, so I assume if shuffler had a problem, they'd notice by now, unless they want it to be that way, which is unlikely.
