It's hard to take accountability when you go through a divorce or financial problems and Tarek had many reasons for going south emotionally. Rooting for him and Heather as well as for Christina. She was obviously protecting her young children because he couldn't break out of a bad frame of mind. They're obviously still close and work together, so it all worked out for them as a family.
Apparently you have been blessed, and never had to deal with someone you love who turns into someone you don't even recognize because of opiates, drinking, hormones out of whack. Etc. I have a loved one who is kind and giving etc, but when she's under the influence she's mean and unpredictable. I've stood by her, helping through rehab and other stuff. The other addictions of smoking, shopping, hoarding etc has also spiraled out of control. I understand there is treatment in Mexico and other countries using Ibogaine or Psyliocybin. But in US it's illegal. One time treatment and ppl are cured from addictions of all sorts, depression etc. Big pharma and drug treatment centers don't really want ppl cured. They want perpetual customers. Thank goodness Tarek had the financial means to contact Dr Drew. I wish and pray one day we ALL can find the help that is out there. RFK jr is on the right path with many treatment options. Blessings to all.

My husband was seriously injured while on active military duty. They had him on 13 Oxycodone and gabapentin a day. He weened himself off pain killers and then had 3 back surgeries. He's had bladder cancer and we've been through some tough economic times. But I NEVER thought of leaving him. Maybe it's stupid to stand by your husband and take your wedding vows seriously--so I guess I'm stupid because I've stuck right by his side for 30+ years.

I am really impressed with his honesty. Yes life was tuff going through what he did but that didn't deserve a divorce. What she should have done was stand by his side with support from friends and get him some deep help! I never did like Christina, she seemed to whiney to me and not a very strong women...kinda negative. Well, how many marriages has she had since tell you alot about her. Just my opinion...
She cheated on him......& then rumored to cheat on the next one.

So Christina left him when he battled cancer and addiction. She was good with the good times. Then she remarried and divorced 3 times. Boy that woman thinks a lot of herself. What a awful wife. Best wishes going forward Tarek and quit blaming yourself like most men do.
