I personally liked the old fireplace, all it needed was a fresh coat of paint.
this episode Tarek has a lot of positive energy and smiles a lot! Usually he is grumpy all the time haha
I enjoy watching the old reruns tremendously. And yes they were good together. 🤗
They always do a good job and this one is no exception. The rooms are só big and the kitchen looks very modern, but not cold. The lounge with the new fireplace and black wall looks stunning. Christina is always on point with her designs.
They added some "warm" details like wood features and light flooring that helped to stay a little bit away from the modern look

What I honestly wouldn't give to have them re-do my current home so I could live here for the rest of my life and love every minute of it!!!!! I've never watched a single episode where i thought they goofed up. They're incredible!!!!!!!!!!!!
It IS a beautiful house. I love Christine's design aesthetic. I loved Flip or Flop cuz it moved fast, always interesting and fun.

I don't care what you say. I love their shows the interaction, .and exchange of ideas. It is a learning experience, if you listen close, then see the final product. Its great. Tarek teaching other people how to flip pissed me off. The flippers wouldn't listen and screw up the whole project. It was just ridiculous but good show. Christina's approach in her show is great getting the client's participation and her reception to their input is inspiring. I pray for each of their families good will for the future.

It's a gorgeous house that they brought up to date. Did anyone else think that bold, geometric tile didn't really go in a modern farmhouse style? It looked too busy and harsh to me. I'm thinking a different black and white design would have looked better. LOVE the marble in the kitchen though.

I have been watching several of their TH-cam videos and what I don't understand is what they do with those beautiful cabinets and beautiful Countertops and things that are very nice. I live in Idaho and I would dearly love and feel very honored, to have many of those items placed in my home. It's sad to me that everything is just trashed and thrown away when there's so many of us out there who would dearly love to have those things.

GORGEOUS!! That house was so ugly before T/C got their hands on it. I love what they did with it. I love the bl/wh! The bathroom tile is giving off an African vibe and I am here for it. This is truly a modern house. Too bad the backyard didn't have enough room for a swimming pool. That would've been the cherry on the sundae.
Why do you start from the middle? I want to see when they see the house for the first time and do all their planning.

They should have kept the original fireplace that indicated the beautiful architecture. The new fireplace is boring. Looks like many people agree!
The geometric bathroom tiles look like something you'd find in a public washroom.
I loved that fireplace. Would not have even painted it. What an awful decision! Great job on the rest of the home though.

very beautiful ...everything happens on one floor...like that...even though I am not to much a black and white fan, this still looks warm and cozy, not to cold...
Everything could turn out immaculate and be everything I wanted in a home but the fact that it's in an HOA neighborhood, NO!

Stone fireplace surround I would have sold it not destroyed it. Most likely came from a salvage yard removed from an older home.

Why won't the kitchen cabinets run all the way to the end of the wall. That space could have housed another floor to ceiling pantry looking cabinet. Other than that the whole house looks gorgeous ❤️
It looks like they got prefabricated cabinets. They would have needed a custom cabinet in that corner for it to fit. They could have added a 12” or 18” cabinet but then that would leave an awkward 4” opening or so. At least now the buyer can add plants or a furniture piece
@@Crazyarchfiend I can't imagine they'd get prefabs on a million dollar house. I've never seen them do that before.

So... a black roof is a cool roof? PS - If I were spending a million for a house, I'd have wanted the bathtub placed a more relaxing or roomier way rather than tucked into a forgotten corner that provides no shelving to put candles or bath products. Geeze, for that money, tub area should have its own lighting and music. Maybe even a privacy curtain.

Farmhouse in a housing addition? No way does it look like a farmhouse. It's a nice house, but it can never be termed as a "farmhouse".
They need to get back together. I miss them. I know they lost themselves in their journey but I think they should get back together.

They are in it to make money. Generic looking properties appeal to a higher number of potential buyers which drives up price. Greys and neutral tones appeal to more people. Buyers can always customise to their tastes and needs after purchase. I think Tarek and Christina spent more money and time fixing things and making the houses more liveable than a lot of flippers.

Ugly bathroom and kitchen tile and backslash, kitchens are supposed to be warm and inviting, Christina design are cold and boring, she only knows 3 colors, white, gray and black
