For anyone who watched this stream, did Kyle enjoy it? Lol. I’m very well prepared for Kyle to hate this. I only ask because I just 100% Dread last night and loved it. It’s my GOTY next to RE Village. It does seem like he is going in with the intent of hating it. I know that’s not what Kyle does but it’s just a feeling I have from his impressions of it since it was revealed. L&R Kyle! & chat. 👍
2 hours in. So far he really digs the controls and the backgrounds, but he's still hung up on the fact that EMMIs are invincible to Samus' weapons. I think deep down he knows that it's just an excuse for the gameplay to be the way it is, but either way, I'm sure he'll come around about the game! I will keep watching.
Seems like Kyle is just learning about the bottom of the barrel review outlet formally known as Niche Gamer. I am in a Fantasy Critic league and every god damn time there is an outlandish, shitty review that drops a game's score, it is from fucking Niche Gamer. The criticisms are always ridiculous and do nothing to justify the score. Also, if you read the actual reviews, they are atrociously written. Niche Gamer is just a giant pile of garbage that is somehow given the "top critic" status on Open Critic. Woof!
At least those millenials appreciate those overrated thing called help text and use the right weapons at an annoying mini boss fight. But complaining that the reviewers who gave a 10 had to much support from Nintendo... At least somehow they deserved it. Yeah - the millenials had their chance - in teaching the following generations to use their brain. We failed... BTW: great reflexes, spend hours on those bosses...

it can really seem like kyle goes into games trying to hate them sometimes. maybe its not on purpose.
