- Beginning this season, we wanted to try and branch out internationally. Tired of filming pros next to their infinity pools in Los Angeles, we need to branch out and get some skaters from other lands. I wanted to not only find out out about the skaters themselves, but find out who some of the people that influenced them were, what the scene was like in their country. So we hopped on a long flight to Sydney Australia and caught up with rising star Chima Ferguson. We spent a week with his brother and his mates, learning what we could. In part 2 we caught up with him back in Los Angeles, where he lives with Dustin Dollin. They were working hard on the Vans video at the time of shooting.

I grew up with Chima. He uses his mum's last name because his real one used the whole alphabet twice.
I remember him roller blading as a 10 year old trying to do tricks at the flats. Stacked it hard every time and just got up and went again.

I used to skate with Davo at the pit 94 dom chambers brought me there from byron bay it blew me away
I feel like when skaters do a really scary trick, they feel more relief that it's over than accomplishment that they did it
I have always been like that, when my friends were skilled. I remember walking around the city, first thing in the morning (we'd been out all night) getting people to check my mates headspin out (breakdancing) we would entertain the strap hangers in the morning, they always loved it.
PS: talking about his brother, bigging him up to everyone.
