It was on the news for weeks how people were traveling to help in hospitals where they were overwhelmed. Everyone who was allowed to help had to pass the same health measures of temperatures taken and negative test results, whether they were a doctor, maintenance worker or janitor. Let me add some other places that you should volunteer without a mask, gloves or any other type of protection........homeless shelter, food bank, retirement/nursing home or pass out meals to the homeless, which would mean very close contact. Let me see what your excuse will be now.

Whether you approve or disapprove of what he did or is doing it isn't all on him. Nobody forced these people to attend that particular church. If they were worried about issues with covid-19 they could have easily chosen an online or drive in service where appropriate social distancing was being practiced. That being said I pray everyone stays safe and healthy!
All the 'hate" I have seen regarding Pastor Spell has been regarding opening the church. God will bring an end to the virus on his timeline not ours. I would have a lot more dislike for someone if they forced people against their will to be in a large group setting so in that respect I am glad that schools and many places of employment are opting for online services. At least with churches it is a choice and if you feel you have underlying health issues and fear the virus it is easy to find other options that don't meet in person or practice social distancing. Ultimately it will come to a point where everything will reopen and every time there is concern we can't just close all the schools for 2 months and everything else then sit there scratching our heads wondering why kids aren't learning or that the economy is failing.
If and when it hits again we need to be ready.
Was just sharing an opinion. I'm not a part of his church. Yes I am a Christian though however we are doing church via the internet. I happen to love my church and so does the pastor and he feels it's better as do I to not have in person gatherings quite yet. I'm not agreeing or disagreeing with Pr Spell. He is making the decision as are the people attending and as adults we are responsible for our actions..to society and ultimately to God.
Bottom line is that the pastor and his cult of a congregation can worship all they want, but don't leave the compound after doing so. The pastor should provide cots and 3 hots for his congregation, in order for them to shelter in place there and not mingle with everybody else. Why should people who follow orders to prevent getting infected have to be subjected to possibly being infected by these people? And yes, it can easily happen.

If God hadn't saved me 15 years ago by the Acts 2:38 message, I probably would be a marked man by now, if not dead. I was so corrupt I couldn't be trusted to tell you the sky was blue, but God in His mercy cleaned me up, when I didn't deserve it.
Not to mention every time He's healed my body of various things. When I was either 19 or 20, a doctor told me I'd be in a wheelchair by age 30 due to my back. Well, I'm 35, no wheelchair. On rare occasions I use a cane, but generally I'm in good shape. I just got done climbing feed bins on my farm job today, and carrying heavy loaded buckets as well. Which I shouldn't be able to do, because MEDICAL SCIENCE wants to put me in a wheelchair, but JESUS said NOT THAT BOY YOU AINT!
So get outta here saying anointing power ain't real, because MY CHAINS ARE BROKEN!
@@danpierce1120 1. I didn't have a religious experience. I had a touch from God. I used to be a trinitarian, so believe me I know the difference.
2. I've never had a lower back surgery. Had a sebaceous cyst cut out the middle of my back a few years back, it was unrelated to my ciatic troubles.
3. You are RIGHT! A religious experience CANNOT cure or heal a disease, but a touch from JESUS can. Just go back to the 4 gospels and read about all the people he healed with just a touch. There's nothing mystical about it. Medical scientists can't explain how God does it, so they erroneously say miracles don't exist. Some of them have even been known to argue with people who had bona fide miracle healings over whether or not they had a bona fide miracle healing.
4. As for cancer patients, it's the same as with this virus. Pray about whether you should go to a doctor or not, have the elders of the church lay hands on you and pray for healing. If and when God heals it, that miracle could win a doctor's soul to Christ.
There's been some of our preachers said going to a doctor was sin. I don't say they're right or wrong. I know on a handful of occasions, my faith wasn't high enough for a miracle, and I had no choice but to go see one (my fault!). But if one can fast and pray enough until God does something, I say AMEN, do it!

The House that is referred to in 2nd Chronicles 20:9 is the Temple that Solomon built for TMH God in Jerusalem. Not some pagan shrine you built and attend in either Louisiana or Texas.

If TMH Gods eyes are always upon the Temple or house that Solomon built, how can He be in the church house too?

Glad to see one Apostolic Pastor acknowledging the need to confront political fronts. Politics and religion, as we all have now witness, can never be seperated in the minds of humans. Your religious views are very easily correlated to your political views and vice versa. Then of course your deeply held political/religious views are great precursors to an individual's daily behavior. If someone tells me they are muslim, i know for a fact they will not eat pork. The church has a religious spirit now but Acts 238 is still right and there is only one supreme God, so they have that. This church and man of God are examples that they are rich in good works and they share their riches to many other churches and those in need for the glory of God. And their faith and hope n Jesus, the Word of God and seek souls and help the body of Christ doesn't seem selfish to me. All of these are true riches in heaven and this world these are eternal goods.

As a 6th generation apostolic young man I don’t see the point in all the showmanship going on...like why...if ur worshipping God then why are u walking around singing on the platform videoing the congregation...they have someone for that we r watching his work right now!! What the Trump administration ( who is definitely sympathetic toward Evangelicals-which includes the Pentecostals) is doing does not reflect any animosity toward the churches at all. Trump has proven to be a friend to Christians AND Jews. We should honor the request from the government in this case, for it falls under Titus 3:1, Romans 13:1, and Matt. 22:21.

This pastor and his congregation have bad understanding. No one is trying to take away their right to worship. They can do it 24/7. I'm not down with pastor Tony Spells worship today. I disagree with his request for tithes and justification of wealthy preachers. I didn't feel the spirit in his raucous speech. However, I 100% support freedom of religion. I'm glad he didn't comply with the unconstitional house arrest. I pray he will not practice priestcraft, but true humble worship... as we all must.

I pray he can do all this righteousness to glorify God and not himself. I am not accusing. I don't know him. I just can't help but believe that some members of this congregation will be disillusioned, confused, and hurt by all of this. I understand and respect the fact that Reverend spell is standing up for what he thinks is right but I also believe that it's being done in a haughty and defiant manner. And the way he tells his congregation to "sit down" during his preaching makes me cringe. Coming from one who is defying house arrest in order to go to church and worship, it seems his congregation would have the right to stand on their feet and worship during the sermon without him telling them to sit down. I see a lot of control coming from this man. I certainly do not believe he is a criminal but I do think he is misguided and determined to be right. Worship is not confined to a building nor in the presence of a congregation. I think hype and emotion is often confused with worship. If I seem judgmenal, that is not my intention. I hope I'm seeing things wrong and this church will come out of this with no negative impact or hurt to anyone involved.

He’s being “defiant” because he and his congregation believes they answer to a more ‘higher calling’ than man and no one has the right to tell them how to worship. The name Shear-Jesh-Shub means "a remnant shall return." That prophesy was fulfilled in Ezra 2:64. Th name Immanuel means " with us is the Strong One because El in Hebrew means Strong One. That was fulfilled when TMH God destroyed the two kings who tried to come against Judah. Pekah the son of Remaliah king of Israel and Rezin the king if Syria.
The Prophesy in Isaiah chapter 7:15-16 read; " Butter and honey shall He eat that He may know to refuse the evil and choose the good,
16: " For before the Child ( Immanuel) shall know to refuse the evil and choose the good, the land that you dread shall be rid of both her kings." That was fulfilled in 2nd Kings 15& 16.
The name Maher -Shal-Hash-Baz means " the Lord will hasten it." That was fulfilled in Isaiah 8:6-8 and Isaiah chapters 36-39.
In Isaiah 8:6 it reads; "Inasmuch as these people ( Israel) refuse
The waters of Shiloah that flow softly,
And rejoice in Rezin and in Remalliah's son!
7: Now therefore behold the Lord brings up over them
The waters of the River ( Euphrates)

Why is it that Isaiah is talking about the future invasion of Judah by Sargon the 2nd to Immanuel?
He isn't talking to himself. He isn't talkng ng to either Shear-Jesh-Shub not Maher -Shal-Hash-Baz. He's talking to Immanu'el. This is in the year 743BCE. Immanu'el is still to young to know the difference between good and evil. This is before king Hezakiah is on the ye throne.
Ahaz reigned from 744BCE to 728BCE. King Ahaz had to witness the birth of Immanuel and the death of these two kings before he died.
This scripture places Immanuel living during the time of King Ahaz and also during the time of king Hezekiah.
How can Immanuel/ Jesus b the son of Isaiah and the son of Mary and Joseph? Either Isaiah is lieing or the writers s if the Gospels are lieing.
