👍 I like the Renaissance wax for protecting wood handles, but use Lexol & Obenauf’s to treat my leather. I like Ballistol for cleaning firearms but don’t use it on my knives as I don’t know it is food safe. Glad to see we both maintain our tools.
Definitely best to look after your tools. Ballistol is food safe and I believe even has some medicinal properties. I have also been told it is good on wood and leather. It's OK on wood, but not great not very good on leather at all 😂. Thanks for watching mate.
It's a paste, just like toothpaste. But for God's sake don't put it in your mouth. It's really good stuff. Great for removing any surface rust, stropping and generally making things shine. Another big advantage is that it is very easy to find in petrol stations, hardware stores ect.
I said 3 products, there are actually 4. The fifth one is elbow grease 😂
Great! I use Ballistol also for the leather sheath. But it darkened the leather.
I have tried it on leather, I much prefer the mink oil to be honest.
Thanks for watching mate.

@@KuukkeliBushcraft I had no idea Ballistol was food safe. Thank you for that important knowledge.
Must say thats the best metal polish I have ever used
Me too, it works really nice. With all of these products though there might be better options.
These are just the best ones that I have found.
Goods Tips Tim! 😝👊❤️❤️❤️❤️🔪🔪🔪😎🤘

Again 😂. A lot speedier with commenting than I am in answering. Thanks for stopping by Jas.
Good tips. I have used ballistol on my firearms and knives. I'll have to try the autosol. Is it a liquid?
