Have you ever taken the motor apart? It seems like the motor housing is a split design and magnets are only glued half on the housing half. Weird and im not sure if thats correct or not. Change the brushes a make a video haha

Im sure you can get it apart and back together, if they sell the brushes would be the problem.
Honestly the pump brand-new is only 100$ and I'd say if you have used it to that point...buy a new one.

@@cnt_drive_1670 The problem with just buying a new shurflo pump if you don't know the reason the first one broke, is that you will just end up buying multiple pumps over relatively short periods of time.

@@TheScottEF things just wear out, my dad had this one for I don't know how many years but as long as I can remember and use this one in his landscaping business.
You would think rebuilding something would be cheaper but sometimes after you put all the work in it ends up being easier just to buy a new one.
I hate even saying that but unfortunately in this day and age that's just how it is sometimes.

My first question is when it ran out of water to pump did it just stop pumping or did the motor shut off completely?
