It was the 20th anniversary five days ago on the 11th of September 2024. I wasn't lucky enough to be there but I have the Back in Time DVD and have watched it many, many times. I have just dug it out after not having seen it for many, many years, and remembered the signatures on the inside of the cover. I think yours is one of them along with Ben and two others I cannot make out. Really wish I had a DVD player to watch it on again.
This is so awesome - I have no words. Deflektor is for me the best Computer Song ever done - together with 3D-Galax. This is so wonderful and one childhood dream coming true. Just to let you guys know.
Ben clearly had musical talent as he could not only compose good computer tunes but taught himself at least two instruments that we know of (flute and guitar). A shame he won't still be around to keep the old tunes alive, or to give interviews.
As FunkyMonkey already said: DayoDayo! :D Awesome performance of this song. Congratulations, guys! :) I love it. :) The good... The superb joyful atmosphere is leaking out of the speakers and the display and warming my heart. :)
Is there anything better than the electric violin? Oh wait. The electric violin playing AWESOME video game music is better. And what a coincidence! That's exactly what's going on here! :D
Beyonce Pink Michael Jackson? Who the fuck are they? This one humble man was lightyears away from them,despite he does not had the means of those few(?) had! Still showed way more talent than those fake shitpiles. Respect as a self taught "musician"
In 1990 this blew my mind
Rest in peace Ben, thank you so much for your great music influence for all of us who grew in 8bit Generation
Rest in peace, Benn. We will never forget, thank you for all.
He is dead?
@@maasle Ben Daglish passed away on 1st October 2018.
@@cheulesyigess1187 sad to her that.
I met Ben in Norway only a few months before he died. R.I.P. Ben.

Thanks a lot Michele!
6 years this month since we lost my husbands son and my stepson Ben. Such a great talent and gone way too soon.
It was indeed a magical night, and it's crazy to think about the fact that it was 9 years ago. Time flies!
And listening to it today still somehow gets dust in my eyes :)
Hey, just wanted to notify you that another 9 years just passed by :)

Ben could play so many instruments! The flute was most likely his main instrument, and it was always fun to hear him noodle around on it.

If I good remember this game was also on the Atari ST.
That is correct!
Also works perfect without a SID-chip!
@haggsisme Takk takk! :)
@fabzzap That was in 2004.
This tune is too short! Perfect though, but a Hubbard style epic would have been good.
DayoDeyo!
Moar Cowbell!
And so on, because clearly more people need to watch this video! :)
Den er God
Where can I buy this studio'ed??

Is that ed alleyne Johnson on the purple electric violin?
Nope, it’s me. He was one of my main inspirations growing up though.
