Hello I study music and think the "correct" way to write the notes are: G# B# D# F## (or X) Why? Because to make this Maj7 chords we need a third, P5, M7... G# to C natural is a diminshed forth, G# to G is weird to see. It isn't a M7 nor Octave. Pd. My intention is to explain why. I dont want to make you feel bad. Have a nice day :D and I hope I've helped a little bit :D
You're absolutely right! I am aware of that but my brain is fried from FL studio's piano roll so I only think in sharps and flats don't exist haha I'm glad you liked the song :D
Thank you!! The video would be fairly short because the recording did most of the heavy lifting. If you don't have a pocket recorder I highly suggest the zoom h2n, it allowed me to capture it in stereo very easily
@@Sharpend It's funny you mention that because i just managed to get my hands on the zoom h1n!! However I still have to cut off a lot of resonant frequencies from the guitar in the mix. Maybe it's just the shape of my room 😭
Oh that's great! Pocket recorders are a lot of fun. If the recording is very resonant I suggest placing the mic away from the sound hole? Like facing the 12frets or even 3rd frets, should be less resonant and thinner
one of my absolute favorite chords of all time! gonna go check the song out on spotify now
It definitely is a great chord 🤠
Amazing video very inspirational
Very interesting video and track construction demonstration. Thanks for sharing. BTW the song sounds amazing.
Thank you so much!! 🤠

@@Sharpenddon’t worry
maj7 chords ftw
Love how you made it all very organic!
I swear maj7 & min7 chords are my defaults by now haha
you should make a tutorial on how you mixed that acoustic guitar because it sounds so nice and warm
