    Nice review, I have them in a GMMK Pro, Azoth and a GMK67 and they are probably my favorite switches. All of those are pretty stiff and with cherry caps I have no issues with the stem wobble. However I did have them in a Q1 Pro with FC plate. It's setup to be quite flexy and that was the one board where the stem wobble actually caused some issues. To me it's not much worse than Oil Kings or Black Inks or a host of other switches but it bothered me enough on the Function Row, which I use on the system I have that board on, I swapped them for some Cidoo Matte switches which are quite similar in feel. A tad louder and not as thocky but good enough and there is almost no stem wobble on those.

    Would you recommend for a sizable amount of gaming and some productivity/typing (are they good for gaming)

      Productivity and typing, yes for days indeed! I felt Morandi was more for the typing feel than for the sound it offers.

    Which one in your opinion sounds better (if you have tested them both) vertex v1s or these?

      @GantioKeys  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Haven't tried the V1s but I think you'd get more volume from the V1

    What about stem wobble? Some people saying that it has very bad stem wobble
    when bottoming out.

      Yes they do have quite a bit of stem wobble. To minimize it, you gotta film the switch and swap out the spring for something a little heavier.62.5 or 65g.

      @@kas4751 Filming switches reduces housing wobble, not stem wobble.

      I was never worried by that much with the stem wobble let alone have a good metric if it is bad or not. As far as comparing it against the WS Jade (particularly has the same materials), I'd say the Jade has better tolerance overall.

    Do you think this is better than the cream yellow?

    • @GantioKeys
      @GantioKeys  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      It'd be a tough one to call when they are quite far from one another in terms of their pricing. If you're eyeing for the sound profile, I'd go for the Cream Yellow.
      On the typing feels, well I really like using Morandi just because of how it is smooth out of the box and the spring just performs so well when it comes to my typing experience. On a different video, I said that Cream Yellows were lighter for me but that was being compared with the Radiant Reds.
      Nonetheless, trying to weigh-in on two switches that are distinctly different from their pricing could be a difficult one to decide which is BETTER... there are just a lot of factors to play around from here deciding which is better and pricing and sound profile are major parts in the process.

      @@GantioKeys Just got the morandi switches recently, i gotta say the stock performance is good but the wobble is bad compared to my cream yellows. I spring swapped my cream yellow a while back to 2- stage ones and it felt way better than the morandi plus i got it lubed. Didn't see this coming, nonetheless in stock form morandi wins!
