Thank you for this video. The manual says nothing about removing the weird black clip from the rear grille. One cannot proceed without doing this and it's odd that it is not mentioned in the assembling instructions included with the fan. You might want to add that in as instruction 1a with an added Fig. 8.
Thank you for bringing that to our attention. We have made a note of this and will pass it along to the appropriate people so they can add that information. When I put it on the pole the wheel thing does tighten because there’s not whole for it to go through to toghten once I put it back through that first hole . There’s no hole on the pole so how do o tighten
We will be happy to clarify this. There is no hole in the pole that the screw will go through. In the motor housing where the screw goes in, there should be a nut on the backside, so the screw will go into the plastic hole, then the nut. It is the nut that will hold the screw in place, and then the pressure of the screw pressing against the pole is what will keep the pole and motor housing held together. We hope this information is helpful. If you need further assistance, please feel free to email our support team at SocialSupport@helenoftroy.com and we will be happy to assist you.

Hi, my fan lights up when turned on but blades don't turn. I replaced the tiny fuse like five different times. Is there a fix or time to toss? I really love this fan.
