This must be one of the most innovative graphic design in a game. Really like the idea and the look of it.

This game can be picked up for a tenner at Amazon UK. At this price point it's a no brainer. No joke intended.

I absolutely, positively, hate zombie games with passion. Can't stand Dead of Winter, zero interest in Zombicide and so on and so forth...
Then came Hit Z Road. From Martin Wallace whose few games of his i played i liked, and i heard of the interesting aesthetics of the game. So i decided to at least try it. Wow, the game is surprisingly fun. It's really all about resource management and risk taking. What's fun is that the risk you take, you don't see the results right away. A risky decision to bid high for a good path early on might ultimately cost you the game 7 turns later... and i find that fascinating.
Hit Z Road is now officially the only zombie game i actually enjoy, and that's no small feat.
Super innovative graphics. Love the name

this game is my top favorite. Easy to teach, good choices, push your luck, bidding mechanic, and take that mechanics. i even upgraded the components. design of the game brilliant. love your reviews mr. vasel
In what way did you upgrade the components?
+Jonathan Grant i replaced the the cardboard keys and bottle caps with actual bottle caps and keys. With the bottle caps, i drew the symbols on the caps. i used casino chips for the token. i replaced the zombie meeples with meeples i bought off of Amazon. The design of the game is oozing of theme. i just wanted to flesh it out

Looks a fun quick game
Similar as Tom I loathe zombie themes. However I must admit that the art in this game is stunning and also game itself looks like a nice light game. Maybe even try it out.

Like the game minus the zombies. I already have too many zombie games. Wish they chose a different theme i.e. marauders etc.

Early player elimination totally kills my interest on this game. Aside from that, it is a good game.
You could make it that when the first person dies the game is over and the survivors count up their points. Like in run fight or die reloaded.

The acquisition of smaller companies or something else? Conglomeration is essentially the way all industries go if they get large enough. I hate that and it's part of why I'm a socialist, but I'm hardly going to hold one company responsible for the flaws of an entire system.
If it's not that, then I'd love to be educated. Perhaps I might want to follow suit.
It's not that. Most companies want to grow larger and make money, that I can understand. It's that they claim to be doing this for the good of the (board game) industry and its customers. Perhaps 'business practices' is not the proper term, but you get the idea.

But this is not the place for this discussion or your needless derision. I mentioned my socialism in brief to clarify my viewpoint and express sympathy, not to rouse whatever laissez-faire dragon you may be raising.
As for the OP, I entirely understand and admire your morals. Most people aren't stalwart enough to vote with their wallet.
Not a fan. Generally don't like dice rolling mechanics, tired of zobies, and the design is cool but the aesthetics are ugly.
