    AMOLEDs are less accurate because the saturation is tied to the brightness. You'll notice that the colours are more dull in low brightness and get more saturated as you increase the brightness.

    • @ArunG273
      @ArunG273 3 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Also they get degraded quickly, accuracy gets off over time.

    10 bits can somewhat make a difference on a bigger display..I have 27-inch HDR monitor with a 10-bit display and the viewing experience is much better than my Redmi Note 10 Pro!

      Yeah correct it can make diffence not just on a bigger display .. Even a smaller high quality display can make a difference. I am using Xiaomi 11, I compared its display with Samsung s21 fe's normal 8 bit display and the difference is noticeable. But yeah A larger display is even better, My Mi Q1 tv is on another level.

    Just like to get the feel of smoother videos, the video should be shot in higher fps settings, to get the true difference between 8bit and 10 bit display, we need to first shot videos in 10bit camera sensors and process them accordingly.

    Team TeachWiser ,that was awesome.
    I know that a lot of people might not have found the video useful or interesting but, this is the kind of video we all should watch more and more.
    I would really like to watch videos where you guys gives more detailed information about actual technology used in devices like cameras in smartphone (not just the Megapixel, but the sensor used and the image processing, gcam support) smartphone speakers, background software management, build quality etc.
    And headphones , earphones, BT speakers , their actual sound quality, drivers , material etc.
    If you simplify all this for us, then we will buy the right tech devices, which would eliminate gimmicky tech from the market and all companies would try to make quality devices.

    "It doesn't matter if your display supports Dolby Vision, HDR 10+ etc, if you watch SDR content"

    Great video! I disagree a bit. The difference between the display on Samsung S20FE and S21 is consistent. It is the difference between a super amoled and a dynamic amoled. Blue and green are very similar. But red and yellow are really different. A very good representation on the dynamic amoled. On the super amoled, the red is a bright orage and yellow is some kind of bright mustard. The display on the S20FE is not broke or anything. The same display is present on the A52s and the colors are the same. This is why Samsung uses super amoled on the midrange phones and dynamic amoled on the more expensive models.
