@@D54pod No, it's just a movie prop, not really used for music production. But I must say, it's a well-done, well-designed movie prop. It's like a character on its own in the movie.
The context of the song, is that the character played by Mohanlal is invited to direct a play that has gotten into the limbo after its former director gets injured while directing some moves ( in a funny way actually :p). Mohanlals character reluctantly accept the offer. He is kinda scarred from his experience as a student there once many years before. He feels that he is put there by some surreal entity to tell a certain story. Doing this back in college had gotten him into trouble with the university before. But this time, he lets this story unfold through his play and the story it says starts resembling the actually life of someone real in that place. 10:18

But it gets more intense as the movie go forward. With the following songs unveiling deeper layers of the emotional relationship between the original musician's spirit and his life
the new version is going to be re edited too. bcoz of mohanlals stardom and producers wish back in the day, this movie had a separate intro and stunts for mohanlal as fan service. but those will be cut in new version, also some comedy side track placed as commercial formula. thus the rerelease version will be really DIRECTTOR'S CUT as intended.
The songs in this movie is the USP of it.. They are great and vidyasagar is the AR Rahman of malayalam industry even though he has done music for all South industries but wasn't as successful and consistent with quality of music he produced for them compared to malayalam .. Maybe due to the superior quality of music composed by legends of those industries like AR Rahman, Harris jayaraj, yuvan shankar raja in tamil Or DSP and mani sharma in telugu
Oh wow I actually never knew he was such a big deal, and I'm surprised we haven't reacted to any of his movies yet. Looking forward to checking out more.
It was more of a preparation for an annual college dance event or something of that sort. Mohanlal is a teacher there I think, and is helping the students prepare, with the music and choreography for the event I guess.

That movie is basically impossible to get with his subtitles. There's a version on TH-cam but it's cut down so much and has terrible subtitles. We've reached to the song Devasangeetham. That song and video was amazing.
