Had a great time there in July 1991. Spent a ton of time at that pool. From what I have read Freeport's entire tourism industry has been on fumes since 2004.
it saddens me to see this my wife and I honeymooned there in 1986. the lobby in the tower was so beautiful. I ran across a photo of us in the lobby last November while looking for pictures of my father.
I was there twice, in May of 2002, when they had the reopening. It was wonderful. Why was the property abandoned ?

great memories as the Princess, wonderful , casino, and yes the new pool. What a waste.
