    The P30sk is my primary carry piece. Perfect balance of size, concealability, felt recoil, and next level quality. I do like my P365X as well but it’s my #2.

      DITTO! I had mt P30sks milled for a Holosun 407 with a 6MOA dot, so both my 365XL and my P30sks are wearing the same red dot. I have the grip on the HK configured for a right side palm swell and that gun fits my hand to perfection. I shoot the HK vastly better than the SIG (it's a hand size problem again) and I carry it locked and cocked with one in the chamber (like a 1911), so I never shoot the HK in DA. Both have thumb safeties which I also prefer. I also LOVE the paddles.

    Great video and comparison. My primary carry is a P30SK. Big fan of hammer fired and I shoot it well. In the dead of summer, I switch to a P365 just because it’s a bit easier to conceal under a tshirt.

    I've owned a P30 for a long time and it's one of my favorite guns. It is a bit chunky for conceal carry especially in AZ where I usually wear gym shorts during summer. I recently got a Sig P365XL which is a lot easier to conceal and isn't a bad shooter. I like both guns each is appropriate for different types of weather.

    You were right, I wasn't interested in comparison. However, I watched your interesting comparison and enjoyed it. I have a P365 with a 12 rd mag with mag sleeve. I also have the P30SK V3. Although I prefer to like the P230SK more, but like you, the P365 wins with its light weight weight and thinness. Both have been very reliable, with no issues. My P30SK V3 came with 2 13 rd mags and 1 15 rd mag. As a side note, for 4 o'clock CC, I prefer the shorter grip over the P365 with 12 rd. extension over the XL. I also picked up a p365-380 ACP and enjoy it with 380 +P ammo.

    I own both of these as well. The sig is far easier to conceal, but I found it very hard to shoot with the factory grip module. I switched to the Wilson combat and it's a major improvement, but makes it a tad harder to conceal.
    I love my P30sk , so much I had the slide milled for an optic, and cerakoted. I've got 15 extended mags as well. This platform flexes into a formidable home defense gun, carry, or truck gun.
    That said, the V3 trigger is simply sub par for a DA/SA gun. I gave it the Gray Guns short reset treatment and it's vastly better. Still I would consider the trigger subpar, however it's so good and reliable, and safe, they make the trigger an acceptable compromise. I also happen to shoot I quite well so the trigger can be overcome .

  • @cbwelch4
    @cbwelch4 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

    I had just the opposite experience. I have learned the 2A/SA trigger cadence on my Beretta 92 FS. So although the Sig trigger is better. Love the flat triggers on Sigs, and yeah they are better, but I can rock a 2A/SA trigger and even the V3 (the LEM trigger is light and crisp) triggers smooth out when they wear in so I learned the V3 trigger which isn't as nice as the flat Sig trigger, but the V3 is smooth, just long with a ton of take up and a meh wall. The VP9 has a much better trigger. However I shoot the P30 much better than the P365 XL because the ergos are so much better and it stays planted in the hand. The P30/VP9 (almost the same) ergos are second to none to me (have both). I wear XL gloves so thin guns move around more in my hands. The P30 stays planted and on target. A better comparison is my P320c Pro with the flat trigger. It is thicker but I have a better time of it with the X-grip, which does have good ergos and I shoot it really well. A tad better than the P30sk because that Sig trigger is nice, but it is close. I will always carry the P30sk preferentially because the 2A/SA is safer and that gun carries OK in a good holster. The P365 has more horizontal stringing for me because my hands need more real estate. The P30 stays planted and I get a better grip on it than the P365XL which is narrower. BTW - my P320c Pro has never gone off by itself in two years of use and carry. Go figure. It is also a really good shooter and the trigger is 5 lbs. which is not too light, but I prefer 2A/SA for carry.

I have several HK pistols. You need to practice a LOT. Striker-fired guns are almost like cheating with their light triggers. DA/SA will teach you how to be a better shooter, but you NEED to put the work in. I love my p30sk V3 (no manual safety). I'd never carry a P365. I'd carry ANY of my HKs. You do you. I don't judge. I carry both of these and own several more DA/SA’s. The reality is most shooters can’t or won’t put in the time to become proficient with the HK’s trigger. That, and a distinct advantage in size, weight, and price are why strikers now dominate the carry market.

      @@Levi_The_Giant bro… please stop. Every gun manufacturer has issues and then there is SIG who has ten times more. Guns going blam left and right. Just because you drank their kool aid doesn’t mean you’re right. Go compare HK oopsies ALL TIME with just what sig has on their record in 4-5 years. Modern sigs are no where near the same quality as any HK firearm. Take a high round count class and watch it choke 🤣

      I have both, enjoy both, but the HK feels better to carry.

    If you don't like the trigger on the HK, that would seem to be a good reason not to own it! It's a primary selling point.

    You have to be kidding me.there is no comparison.hk leaves sig in the dirt.sig sauer went downhill when the company became american.the only trustworthy guns from sig are the west german p226s and 220s.thats it

      @pandemonikussupbus4590 I totally agree with you. Sig went downhill when they started making in the US. Hence why i just bought a HK P30sks V3. No regrets whatsoever. HK is full German and top notch.
